This song is so scary. Like I can't handle it. But somehow it also has the same addictive quality that a catchy song does. There are a few scary Autechre songs but this one is just so nightmare-y and dark and sad it is just so incredible.
It gives me cosmic dread, peculiar as it might sound. The track's shift from melancholy into an atmosphere of universal emptiness and loneliness is beautiful, in a chilling way.
this track just radiates the story of the sinful nature of humanity... and how satan is inevitably crushed by truth which is and always has been Jesus Christ. like in the end scene of matrix 3 where Neo is in everything and evil goes into non-existance forever. yes, we might go through pain and suffering and hardships and even death of body. but there is eternal Life for those who are chosen. you can not hide or talk down truth, you can try to fight it, but truth will always win and preserve. beautiful track by autechre, that secound main part just unfolds like ultimate perception. wonderful to what we humans are capable of.
I was listening to the autechre sleep mix (while actually sleeping) when this song came on. I joined a nudist theatre cult that then collectively shriveled up into chow-mein-like bits and pieces of living human souls that ended up fitting into a metal lunchbox. I had to give it water and I would watch as it would absorb the water and make this horrible suckling sound. I swear I could hear some sort of lost souls death chant, but I think it was just the synthesizer sound.
this song makes me feel so happy; it reminds me of when i was a kid playing skyrim walking through bleak falls barrow for the first time and just absorbing the atmosphere
The first part is you going through a dark corridor full of people, faceless and nameless. You go ahead steadily, looking for a way out, but it gets darker and darker, until you can't see anything, and collapse on the floor, fainting. The second part is you waking up in the same corridor, only this time it's completely empty. There's nothing to to but to go ahead, so that's what you do, until you notice that the whole floor is wet with blood. Your blood. You try moving, but your body doesn't listen to you. Paralyzed, you start to panic and try to scream, but no sound comes out of your mouth. As your heart stops beating, your vision slowly fades, and the world turns into perfect black.

The loud obnoxious add when the track goes silent had me floored 😂😂 Thanks google
This makes me feel a certain way that is hard to describe with words. Actually, a lot of Autechre songs do that to me.
Solar Sands used this in his recent video, I thought it sounded vaguely familiar. Surprisingly so, since I haven't heard this in over a year.

A bit clichéy, but it's quite scary to think about. I would experience this in my dreams most likely.
Great choice of visuals for such a lovely track.
It's actually the album cover. :)

This track makes deep, slow love to my ears.
Solar Sands brought me here.
Twin Peaks
Yeh it def has a David Lynch quality to it. Makes me think of Laura Dern wandering through corridors in Inland Empire.
makes me think of the future
This has Silent Hill 2 all over it. In a good way.
whats the bad way
the first minute of this is absolutely perfect
Amazing ambient
this is hammertime
When everyone else is asleep but you're still up awake exploring what your house is like at night...
Overand out(h9x)
Silent Hill 2. In. Spaaace
HAHAHAA. You have an amazing interpretation.
If major depression was a song it’d be this 💀
this is what protheans listen to.
FUCKING UNDERATED COMMENT. I LOVE YOU
This feels like something you'd hear in a horrible dream. Great song though.
This kind of reminds me of Post Awareness Confusions, if only it were more coherent.
