How much are the spoilers going for ?
Great video and thanks for the info. I installed mine last night. I studied your video and was able to do it myself. The dealership quoted me for 2.5 hrs labor. You saved me a lot of money 💰 and it took me about 45 minutes. Mine already had the chopped engine guard on it.
That’s Awesome! That’s what it’s all about. We already spend a lot of money on these bikes as it is.
If you have the chopped guard do you need to remove the fairing?

How long did it take? My dealer is saying 3 hrs labor time.

This is definitely a great video my guy. Everything on your bikes looks the same as mine besides the oil cooler in the front. I still have the same 2 holes at the bottom for the front spoiler so I'm wondering if this one would fit my 16 roadglide?

Great video, I’m doing a fairing spoiler from Hogworks and none of the bolt holes line up all, like not even close. And they linked your vid from their website on how to install even though you appear to have used HD parts. Wish it wasn’t that bad for the money. Shame.
Awe man! That’s no good. I’ve never installed the HogWorkz fairing spoiler, but I’m sure they will stand behind their product and fix the issue.
Bike looks killer with the fairing spoiler. Any reason you can see that the fairing would still fit with other engine guards? I just ordered the Factory 47 guard and bars, wondering if the fairing spoiler would still fit.
EDIT: According to Factory47, I'll have to notch the fairing spoiler on both sides - cut a half moon out.

great video thanks a lot! My fairing will arrive any day now I'm hoping you can answer a question. I can't quite tell from the video and HD dealer parts guy wasn't sure. Unboxed will the two larger upper pieces fit in a chopped tour pack? It looks like they might just make it and I'd rather ride to pick them up than take my truck. Thanks !!!!
No problem! Thank you. The 2 pieces are large. I think because of the shape, they probably wouldn’t fit. You could always lay something on top of the tour pak and strap it down tight.
You don't have to take the front fairing off. Just out mine on today
If you have a chopped engine guard, you do not need to take off the fairing.
Hi, Great video, inspired me to do mine, which I did yesterday ( chopped guards installed) , waiting on the spoilers. BUT!!!! my fairing wont aligned neatly on the right side. I tried removing and reinstalled the faring but still same...Any suggestion?
That’s awesome! Congrats on the install. Definitely make sure that everything is seated correctly before you start putting on any bolts, that definitely helps me. Also, try installing the torx bolts near speakers first. It could also be your new chopped engine guard bracket. Hope this helps! And Thank You for Watching 🙏🏽

I was wondering , do I absolutely need to take the fairing off just for the fairing spoiler installation . I just finished installing my lower crash bar installation and unfortunately , I put my faring back on .By the way your videos are really helpful and well filmed thank you .
Thank You! Nope, the fairing stays on. You only need to take the fairing off if you change the engine guard.
Id do this in a heart beat cause it looks awesome.... but the problem of restricting the air isnt worth it when these M8s already run hot.
I haven’t had any issues since I installed this, so go for it! It definitely makes the bike look more aggressive

Yes, it absolutely does. Also removing the front exhaust mounting nuts. It’s still doable, but a pain

Can you still get to exhaust nuts for the front cylinder. Just picked up a spoiler today, planning on installing tomorrow but I have a new 2-1 exhaust coming in a couple week.
You sure can, but it’s a pain. I would wait for your exhaust first. It’s doable, but they are hard to get to with it installed

I would definitely check with the dealership, I haven’t installed one of those with this fairing spoiler

When you removed the oil cooler cover were there little metal type "caps" that prevent the rubber grommets from popping out, or did the cooler just come off by pulling on it. I have an 18 RG CVO and it looks like I have to pry these "caps" off to take the cover off. Do you know anything about this? Any info would be appreciated
There were no metal caps for me. I just popped it out and the grommets stayed in place. The CVO might be different, but I haven’t seen these caps before.

Where did you order the 2pc Chopped Engine Gurad? Harley has a different type where you have to take bolts out for the bottom portion. You show your bottom portion slides in. Will this work the same?
I ordered it straight from my Harley Dealership. So the Chopped engine guard mounts differently than the Full engine guard. There’s different mounting locations that are already there. If this is what you mean?

Very informative, the only suggestion I have is if you could state the size of the bolt you are removing when you say the type. You mentioned Torx bolt instead of size T- Torx bolt. It would make having the tools on hand and ready to go easier for those of us watching this video as a how to. Either way, great vid.

Does the spoiler interfere with oil changes as far as removing the filter? Bike looks awesome.
Funny you should ask that today… I actually just filmed an oil change and had to remove the shifter lever in order to get a better angle of the oil filter. This was only because my filter funnel angle. I’m sure you can access it if you don’t mind making a mess. And Thank you for the comment 👍🏽

I honestly didn’t ride enough without the Fairing spoiler to get a noticeable difference. But with it on, it rides great! It installs on there firmly, so there’s no movement or wobble. Thank You for Watching👍🏽

Thanks for posting the video. I have a 2018 CVO Road Glide, do you or anyone know if that kit will work on my bike. When I input my bike info for the kit it's said it will not work on my bike. I even called a local Harley dealer and they don't understand why it would not fit. Can you or anyone help me with this. I do not want to order something and have it not work out because I was told that there would be no returns on this part.

I would definitely call around. These should fit all ‘14-later Road Glide models, except FLRT. Obviously get it color-matched.

I have a 2018 ultra that I'm trying to change up to this kit, does anyone know if I remove the speakers and crash bars in the front if these will work with an ultra?
If this is a 2018 Road Glide Ultra, this kit should fit. I do recommend you purchase the chopped engine guard
