      @@timschultes6467 Hang tough! I know it sucks waiting. I was a day one reservation and waited almost 2 years. The recent announcements from Ford don't look great for deliverability though if you have one of those constraints on order. Hope you see yours soon!

      @@dangermtbbronco I’ve actually been waiting to put a new order in. I am going to order the Heritage model and that one has 2 of the constraints. The hardtop and Sasquatch. They are saying order banks are going to open late March so I’ll put it in and just see how it goes. I really want one though

      I ended up going with the JCR Off-road table. Like it a lot and it was the only one I knew of that didn’t require drilling either

    I bought the stock table, but after seeing this I’m going to pass on installing it and buy this one. That said I hope I can get the “tiger stripe” cutting board (saw it on Bronco 6G) for mine or I might just have to make one. Looks great!

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  Рік тому

      That is great! You are going to love this table. I also saw the tiger stripe anomaly, and it's super cool. Maybe you can use a torch to do the "Shou sugi ban" method. It is normally used on cedar wood, but many people use it to add visual texture elements and waterproof materials. I don't know how that will work on bamboo, though. Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment much appreciated. Please subscribe if you haven't already, and I hope you are loving your Bronco.

    Can you please make a video of how you mounted your fridge tray? No one I can seem to find really has a vide about mounting their fridge in the back of their 4 door bronco. Also with the fridge installed can you still access the area where the jack is stored and other other Nader cargo floor area storage?

      Thanks for watching Jordan, and glad you found some value. I agree there was only one video on UA-cam before I bought my Goose Gear with a 2 door install, and I wished there were more at the time. It's a costly investment, and like you, I would have liked to know the pros and cons and if it was worth the money and a 4-month wait time. I'll put one together soon. I wish I knew about this table before I bought my rockslide table. 😒
    I hated drilling into my tailgate. Especially because Ford went out of the way to make built-in attachment points. I guess they’re just reusing what they had made for Jeeps. 😔

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, having a no-drill table was a must for me, as was a single tier and no sides, so the Rockslide table didn't work for my installation.

    • @neverendingweekend
      @neverendingweekend Рік тому +1

      @@dangermtbbronco my bad assumption was that everyone who developed a tailgate table was going to take advantage of the bronco accessory attachment points 🤷‍♂️.
      You’re right about the two-tier. I thought I’d be useful but it usually stays propped up. Thanks for the video.

    I bought and installed the Ford table last year, and I hate it. Installing was a PITA because the jack screws they supply with it are cheap and stripped out, so I had to remove and replace two of them with some better ones I found on Amazon. Also, I somehow got one hole slightly off, so the table doesn't fit right, and the frame on one side is slightly bowed (likely only noticeable to me, but it bugs me). As others have mentioned, it also rattles a bit, but I was able to mostly resolve that by bending the tabs that the latch hooks onto to give it more tension.
    Anyway, it's installed, but I wouldn't mind replacing it with something like this. It looks like this would cover up the holes I drilled for the other one, but has anyone actually done this? Any issues?

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  Рік тому

      Hey Paige, Thanks for letting others know about your experience with the Ford table. That's exactly why I went in the direction of this table. It's so easy to install, and they make a provision with the pre-drilled holes to allow you to level the table to your Bronco since the tailgates on Broncos are not 100% level. I can't ensure if this will cover your drilled holes, but my guess is probably. This uses blind nuts in the preexisting ford tailgate once you remove the plastic accessories panel, so as long as the holes you drilled are not above that, my guess is it will cover them. Good luck, and thanks for commenting. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks!

    nice looking table but it seems like cutting board won't take much weight.

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  Рік тому

      The cutting board is made of bamboo it is very strong and it rests on full width stainless steel channels. Not sure how much weight you need to put on the board but I'm confident it has plenty of strength for the fattest of steaks, food, bowls, lanterns, etc.

    Best tailgate table or not, I don't see anything there worth $400

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  Рік тому +2

      Value can mean different things to different people. You could make your own cheaper version of this, but it probably wouldn't be as good and likely take a lot of time. This table is bombproof! Really strong and well-made from quality materials and is dead silent when off-roading. There are cheaper ones out there, but they often require you to drill your tailgate and didn't meet my needs for one reason or another. For example, they had holes in the tabletop, molle panels, or two shelves, which I didn't want for many reasons. Your needs could be different from mine. I hope you find one that's worth it for you. Until then hope to see you on the trail. Hell, I'll even pour you a glass of bourbon on my table....

    400 and Sixty, nine dollars. For a fucking table. Your economy is fucked.

    • @dangermtbbronco
      @dangermtbbronco  3 місяці тому

      Of course, we'd all love to purchase a high-quality, tailgate table at a fraction of the price, but the cheaper tables just don't match up. This is by far the best tailgate table available. Made from high-quality stainless steel with incredible attention to detail, from no-drill mounting to its finish, function and no rattle while hammering on the trail, it's worth every penny The only comparable option is the Goose Gear and it's similarly priced. If this isn't within your budget, there are many cheaper tables available. I hope you find one that meets your needs and budget!
