Hi I also noted as the response is slower in the AMT it makes more sense to drive in the M mode whilst driving in hill sections so as not to lose power.

I have heard that AMT on Kwid is much more jerky and slow than in Ignis and similar cars. Also upcoming Nexon AMT is using some technology to minimise lag and jerk.

In one of your videos you suggested automatic is much better then manual one. I am planning to go for tata nexon, but I am confused between manual and automatic? because in one of your comparison videos you were not that pleased with automatic nexon car. So what do you suggest manual nexon or automatic nexon?? Is the extra cost on automatic worth it? From company side its showing same mileage for automatic and manual. Is it true. Question... I've driven many automatic cars in the US and all of them had a locking knob on the gear shifter which you have to press to change the mode , it is missing in the Indian cars , why?
Second thing I noticed is , there is no P or park mode it's just D, N and R mode in Indian cars , why?

I have manual wagon r 2009 model. I frequently drive it from Mumbai to Pune. While driving I rarely use hand brakes which I find irritating. Rather I am more comfortable with the use of half clutch/brake combination on inclines. Now I am considering to purchase AMT hatchback.
Can you advise if AMT will give serious roll back problems while stop/restart from stationery position on city flyover inclines or Ghat section inclines due to traffic jams? Will frequent use of hand brake/or manual mode required? Because there are large number of flyovers in Mumbai/Pune where I stay and also Ghat sections, it will be important for me.
Secondly if actuator in AMT fails, will the car become stationery, undrivable and towed to service station?
Your advice will be very useful to me since i consider your channel very reliable.
