I loved armed and dangerous! RIP John candy
Ivan Torres
So do I.
I am disappointed that it’s not a better known film or spoken about!
@@BAYBOSSMAN Same here bro sadly there both gone now 😪 RIP to both !
The great outdoors was my favorite. I loved the steak scene.
Armed and Dangerous was hella funny especially the scene when Lister chased Candy and his partner out of the gym.
Classic flick
Armed and Dangerous, Summer Rental, Going Beserk, Splash, Brewsters Millions, Spaceballs, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Great Outdoors, Uncle Buck, Whos Harry Crumb, Nothing But Trouble, Only The Lonely, Once Upon A Crime, Cool Runnings....There is a feeling you get that can't really be explained when you watch a John Candy movie. You just feel good inside. Even though some of his movies didn't do the best at the box office, they still are cult classics that I still enjoy to this day. I hope the younger generation can appreciate how great John Candy was
Jesse Swarbrick .....lets not forget Dewey Oxberger in “Stripes”
@@frasierthebichon7422 and lets not forget he was the security guard that Chevy Chase kidnaps with a BB GUN in National Lampoons Summer Vacation :)
You hit it right on the head. Been watching him since a little kid. And I know the exact feeling you are talking about til this day. I’m now 33
He’s such a loss. John Candy is a treasure
First time I ever seen a john candy movie I was 8ish and it was the great outdoors. I was camping at a campground and they had a movie night and we watched the movie on the projector
After John died, all the stories about his generosity and friendship started coming out. John would never let anyone know about the good things he did for so many people. And I'm not talking about famous people, they were just ordinary common people like the kind Tiny refers to here. He had a heart of gold and was the most down to earth man the world has ever seen and funny as anyone. And I miss him deeply. Love you John.
John Candy's famous spaghetti dinners. Would invite film crew, actors and, locals he met around town. Good man, good heart
Great to hear stories like this. The world def. needs more people like him. I still miss John Candy to this day.
Same here. The man was incredible. I never changed the channel if he was on
I had a lot of wishes one of them would of to have met Mr John Candy.
Someone I know met Tiny at a Planet Hollywood event once, he said he was super chill and very intelligent and down to earth.
Me too. When celebrities die, it’s sad. But it has hurt hard when John Candy died. And when Christopher Reeves had his accident and later died. And when Robin Williams died.
Hell is REAL. Repent of your sins and turn to God. He loves you. Believe in God's Son Jesus and you'll be saved. UA-cam: 30 Days Touring HELL
John Candy one of the best to ever do it.
R.I.P Uncle Buck R.I.P Deebo you both are angels now
I heard John Candy was a saint, Debo just confirmed this.
I mean he gave a lady a ride home from the airport because she left on vacation with her family but forgot her son Kevin at home and all of the flights out were delayed or cancelled. Later he would reluctantly coach a group of unqualified Jamaicans to the Olympic Games using his skill and experience to bring them together as a close knit group who almost realized their dreams, all the while becoming like a father figure to the young men. That’s John Candy.
He also looked after his brother's 3 kids at the drop of a hat even though they never really bothered with him. That's john candy
Let's not forget about the time he rescued a kidnapped heiress with the help of the heiress's sister while also using clever disguises and a black belt in aikido...... with the boots to match! That's John Candy.
@@maureenthomas9758 Uncle Buck was great.
Don't forget he was a giant cat on a spaceship..that was John Candy
Never thought "Deebo" would bring a tear to my eye?
John candy comes through the screen when you watch his films
R.I.P. John Candy. I was sad when he passed. I love all of his movies. Hell I use to watch Camp Candy every Saturday Morning before wrestling came on. Great comedian, great actor and great human being he was. It's great to hear stories and commentary on great legends.
When celebrities pass, I'm always most affected by comedians
i loved john candy.he was a great comedian.
When I was a child, I used to watch John Candy movies with my dad, God rest his soul. Armed and Dangerous was a movie that made my dad laugh so much. Me and my dad laughing on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I miss you Dad. And thanks, John. Thanks for the laughs big guy. ❤
Armed & Dangerous is one of my favorite movies. I was so shock when John candy died. R.I.P.

Even to this day we're still discovering how incredible John Candy is. That's the thing about people like John, he left such a monumental impact on so many people that he will never *ever* be forgotten. God bless you John. I can't wait to shake your hand when I leave this world and meet you at the Pearly Gates. #RIPJohnCandy #ForeverInOurHearts
Another great recollection of John Candy. Man why did this legend have to leave us so soon? The world was clearly better with him.
Wonderful to hear another story about the great John Candy!!
This is amazing. "Armed & Dangerous" was one of my childhood favorites and I miss John Candy a lot. Gone 25 years this month. Thanks for this.
Speaking so kindly about someone reflects so beautifully on YOU.
Miss john candy😔
RIP Bruno. “PAY ATTENTION FAT BOY, that’s K9 control you got it”
Hopefully he and John are up in that great place in the sky reminiscing
What did you call him? A muscle bound jerk?!? He is not!!
Big bruno?
Candy and Levy were fantastic on SCTV
John Candy was a natural at playing a good hearted, lovable guy. He just played himself.
So glad to be part of era of John Candy. From 1941 to Blues Brothers, Stripes to. 1st Heavy Metal, as well as Harry Crumb & Uncle Buck, and the list goes on. He'll always be the unforgettable talent of comedy. RIP
One of my favorite actors of all time. John Candy was so funny and a real class act from what everybody who has ever has worked with him. I would hAve cherished any meeting with Mr Candy if that was ever possible. RIP John Candy. Steve Martin loved him so much he moved in with John's family to help them during the grieving process. He was loved by everyone who has ever worked with him. His kids both look like him and talk nothing more than how much they loved their dad.
Zeus Lister, speaking about John Candy, in one of my favorite growing up movies
Beautiful tribute to a beautiful human being.
One of my favourite roles John Candy played was in the Disney film The Rescuers Down under when he did the voice of Wilbur, a great film that doesn't get shown often enough.
I try to be more like John Candy every day. He could bring a tear to a glass eye with his humility and his humanity. It came through in his films. I can't watch Uncle Buck or planes, trains and automobiles without tearing up. A true angel. If I'm blessed enough to get into heaven, I want to meet John Candy. I can picture him as the door man. What a lovely soul. Life is a journey. Let's ride it with love, my friends. No matter what you do, love each other.
Dammit, I am getting so choked up right now.
Never heard or read a bad word about John Candy
Rest In Peace Mr. Tiny Lister and Mr. John Candy
RIP DEEBO :(
Say hi to John up there!
Zeus loved John candy. I still love his movies to this day. Goodbye Zeus and John candy. Thank you guys for making everything great in this earth.
It’s interesting how Tom Lister talks about Candy as he does given their on screen characters were goading one another.
It makes me wonder how much of the Bruno character was in the script and if maybe Candy realized Lister's potential and told him to improvise.
It's ok, I'm tearing up too Tommy
John Candy in America is idolized for so many great performances on the movie screen as a good, if not great actor.
Orange Whip?
Orange Whip?
Three Orange Whips!
Great story
John Candy was the greatest!! I miss him a lot! The world needs more of John Candy's. I am glad Lister can reflect on this and talk about how terrific he was.
Two legends reunited RIP John Candy RIP Tiny Lister Jr.
Both gone, never forgotten
He's right! we all should operate more like John Candy
If Tiny would’ve ever got to meet Elvis Presley, he would’ve got to see what giving to others less fortunate was really like!
tiny lister rocks !!!
This is amazing, thanks for sharing with us!
John Candy The Goat of comedy movies
That's the thing I love, about a celebrity. Is when you hear how awesome that person is or was coming from the actual person who worked with them. I've always admired john, but.. Hearing this only deepens my admiration for him. I truly miss him. RIP. John Candy.
RIP Deebo and John Candy they don’t make em like these guys anymore
John was a great man and so was Lister
John was a true legend 😢
I loved all his movie's.
I always had a feeling that John Candy was the kindest soul. I'm so glad to always hear confirmations of that.
I don't give a fuk. I loved John Candy's performances in Blues Bros., Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, Stripes, Brewsters Millions, Splash, Cool Runnings, Canadian Bacon, Summer Rental, The Great Outdoors, Plains Trains Automobiles, Rookie of the year, Delirious. Gotta Love Em.
All those movies are epic.

RIP Deebo and John Candy ❤❤🙏⛅
RIP Tiny. RIP John Candy.
Good to know that about John Candy.
LOVED that movie! RIP John Candy and Tiny Lister.
Cool Interview. I loved John Candy when I was little & still do. My favorite movies of his were Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, & Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Also his cartoon Camp Candy. He also was good in The Blues Brothers & National Lampoon's Vacation even though they were smaller roles. Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr I also liked in the things I saw him in. May they both keep resting in peace & entertaining others up in Heaven.
Hope they are having all the time they need now. RIP
Someone I know who did stunts in Martial Arts movies told me he met Tiny in person at a Planet Hollywood event once, he said he was super chill and very intelligent and down to earth, he also said he was deeply Christian and always talked about Jesus.
I loved that John Candy in Canadian Bacon, taught me that Toronto is not the capital of Canada, it's Ottawa.
I can just imagine Tiny screaming “Dooolleeyyy!!!” up in heaven….
Plus smacking his own shirtless pec in rage.
Imagine being referred to as the best human you've ever met?
Wow!
John was a one of a kind kinda guy. I still miss him.
Beautiful story! Thank you for sharing!
John Candy owned the Toronto Argonauts. That is so many Americans dream to be able to own a professional sports franchise especially if it's in your hometown.
Armed and Dangerous was my favorite Candy Movie.
I wish there where 100 people like John Candy
Good interview
This is amazing to hear about two of the friendliest funniest actors.
Found this movie on VHS and loved it!
