Thanks I really appreciate that, I went over to your channel and saw you were at 999, now you are at 1k :-) Great channel you have. Keep it going. Thanks again!
Scott if you get the time I would like to see you do a video on the ID map.I understand if there is a dot on the non ferrous line it is saying the target is a coin but I don't know how to interpret it when you have several dots and traces going every witch way.
Thanks for the idea but that would be a very hard video to explain as I think at best, given your scenario, that it is telling you that there are several targets below the coil but I don't think looking at that screen is a 100 guarantee of anything to be honest. Learn the tones first and use the id map 2nd as an additional tool. Most of the questionable targets will sound iffy and the id map help you decide to dig or not.
Just got one coming from a bounty Hunter tracker 4. Real excited but gonna take me awhile to figure the machine out. Any tips besides scanning my coins and jewelry I have to learn the sounds?
I think you should have studied it a bit longer before making this video as you have scared off a few folks from buying the Manticore, which is not a bad thing as it means they will find less. You have made it sound a bit more complicated than it actually is. But it's still a good video. Thanks for sharing.
After watching this video seeing how complicated it is to use I decided not to buy it. I'll stick to ny easy turn on and go Garrett AT Pro tgat has the patented coin Belltone which is the sound of money. I've mastered my machine and it goes deep and is stable with all kinds of features.
Nice job. I love the features available with the Manticore. I knew the ones you explained but wanted to say great job with the explanation 😊👍👍 Camille

@@MentalMetal Thanks Scott I'll do that or maybe buy a Deus2.
I know where you can get a Deus 2, just reach out to Fort Bedford Metal Detectors. They have them. :-)
@@MentalMetal Thanks Scott maybe I will.

Dig everything for awhile and it will start making sense. Don't depend on the 2D screen learn the tones.
Further confirmation that my decision to sell my Manticore was a good one.
Some machines are for everyone.
what is noise cancel?

Thanks for your opinion. I respect that.
Some people still prefer a flip phone. Some people love the dig. Can't hate either way.
Thank you for confirming my decision on not getting a Manticore.....sheeze.....
But yet, you can run a Deus.. hmmm
You can only truly become a master detectorist, like myself, if you devote yourself to one brand.
@@tedyoh7394 I think Whites was always the best and if they was still around they would still be putting them all to shame.
@MentalMetal I'm enjoying the Manticore and I came from the 540
I agree. I'll stick to my easier turn on and go Garrett AT Pro which I've mastered and it goes deep and I can find whatever the Manticore finds.

Lol. Yeah better stay on your level.
