Agar aap ek saal afford kar skte ho drop karna and you have something else to do like a job so that you can justify the gap year to next year dedo but keep in mind agle saal apko better perform karna hai. But agar apko thoda b doubt lagra hai to welingkar kar skte ho. Waha ki placements decent hai plus aap fresher b ho to waha b cream mei rehne ki koshish karna. To definately acha karlogey.

Answer to first question -
Not as such. There were people working along with me who were same year passouts as me from baby IIMs getting same pay same profile. Kuch differentiator nahi tha.
So i think ek baar aap company mei chale gye na to what matters is your work, what new skills you learned. Thats it!
Answer to second question-
Abhi to mjhe hardly 2 saal hue hai pass out hue to true picture nahi de skti. But what i have realised is ki successful woi hai who is doing there job diligently and upgrading themselves as per market demand.
But bimtech k alumni are doing pretty good. For example Surbhi Goel who is a bimtech alumni has been appointed as a CEO for Munich Re. Similarly there are many examples.

Actually I want to seek an advice from you actually I have given CMAT this year with not so much preparation and i scored around 90 percentile so I'm getting colleges like Bimtech and welingkar but I feel I have more potential and I can do better and I was thinking of a drop year and give CAT again as my age is just 21 years but same time i have fear that if I didn't scored well in CAT then what I'll even loose chance to get into colleges like welingkar and bimtech so what you will advice should i go for my MBA or countinue my preparation and try next year.

Abhi apki age b zada nahi hai to aap repeat ka option dekh skte ho. But make sure ki attempt mei apki tyari bdia honi chaiye. And i will suggest ki khali CAT nahi XAT, SNAP, NMAT sab target karna. You never know. Apne options khule rakho. And aap side by side kuch choti internship ya certifications karlo apne aap ko upskill karne k liye.

You can check IMI Kolkata once. Was checking on google. Their median salary is 8.71 lpa( not very impressive but can be considered)

Companies like Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla and Shoppers Stop were the main recruiters for retail management course with an average package of 7LPA, other then that Infosys, Deloitte, and banks like ICICI and SBI cards also recruited people from RM. The highest package for the retail management course was 10LPA given by Schneider Electric.
Personally retail management course is the best return on investment course since the RM has the lowest course fee, lowest strength but an average package of 7LPA and students get placed pretty quickly thanks to the low batch strength.
IBM:
Insurance business batch were the first to get placed, companies like Swiss Re, Digit Insurance, AIG were the bulk recruiters which offered an average package of 6.5-7lpa apart from that Infosys also recruited students from IB batch.
Banks like SBI cards, ICICI, HDFC Bank had also been major recruiters.
If all these factors meet your personal goals then go for it! Else consider other options. I gave you the true picture as much as I could. Isse idea lelo
I think the biggest difference between Tier 1 and others is the quality of peer group, I've seen the difference in people whom came for the interviews in both types and ye Baby IIMs convert kar liya hai and inke WhatsApp groups me mess ke kahane aur ghumne phirne ki baate chal rhi thode kam ambitious log lagre hai, I think I should give an another attempt as life mediocrity hi chalri pehle IIT nikla nahi to mediocre logo ke sath hi graduate hue and ab MBA me bhi koi baby IIMs koi IITian aata hai nhi to vo best brains of the country ke sath brainstorming during a case study hamesha missing rahega. I'm thinking about leaving these Lower Tier college for a reattempt
Hello! Yes thats a personal choice.If you can afford to drop and give cat again with better percentile go for it! Also a side note ki har college mei apko har type k log milege. Kuch jo cream hoga kuch jo nahi hoga. Choice apki hai ki apko kiske saath rehna hai.

Ma'am, I recently graduated with a B.A. in History and have a neutral interest in both MBA and B.Ed. I would also like to try for competitive exams. Should I first spend 2 years preparing for government exams along with pursuing a postgraduate degree via distance learning, or should I pursue an MBA or B.Ed. and then go for government exams? If I should prefer one, which profession would be good?
Additionally, if I do an MBA, I can only do it from government colleges or affordable private colleges (around 4 lakhs). Can anyone give me a suggestion about these options?
Listen mba is a very costly option.... So if u want to pursue it .. pursue from a good college which can provide u better return on investment...
As far as govt exam are considered I think it is better to have a good back up before u r jumping into this sea of govt job ... U can pursue b.ed and at the same start giving exams for govt.. if u get a job fine but if u don't in 3 yrs go for mba

Was looking at the placement reports for the college for 2023.
Highest package -25.50 lpa
Top 50% students got - 11.08 lpa
And max students were hired in Financial Service, Rating Agencies and Banking.
Fees - 15 lakhs approx
Considering these factors , i think college decent hai. If this is the best possible option you hold right now and you don’t want any more gap years go for it.
A side note - even if you go to Tier 2/3 college just try your best to remain in the cream and join the placement committee of college for better opportunities and better networking. All the very best 🥰

Their average stands at 9.40 lpa and highest at 14.10 lpa.
Since you have made up your mind to join here just remember-
1) Stay in the cream of college
2) Join the placecom of college so that you have good networking

Don't compare it with IIMs. They are the top notch college of India. But, talking of Banking and Finance, NIBM is certainly the master in this field.(if your aim is to go in banking and finance fields)

Hello! UPSC apne aap mei itna tough exam hai that i wont suggest ki aap do jagah haath daalo. Ek cheez karo ache se. Jisme apka actual interest hai wo karo. Agar dhayn do jagah karogey to aisa na ho ek b cheez sahi se na ho. Thats my point of view. Also tier 1 college crack karna apne aap mei ek bada task hai. To choose wisely.

Lateral placements hoti hain. If you perform well, you can definitely get better jobs. My friend literally started as an analyst in Nielson and ended up becoming a management consultant in KPMG in just 2 years. He was working alongside peeps from MDI, IIM BLACKI, etc.

Hello! If you take up your Executive MBA from the IIMs (A,B,C,L,K, etc) then it makes sense, if you had done your regular MBA from a Tier-2 B School and landed in a mid-tier company. So make sure that you have a tangible gain from the second course you are taking up. Again depends on your personal goals but have seen many people doing it.

Okay! Follow the TISS website closely! Because rumours say that from next year onwards TISS might only accept CAT scores! Wait for that notification. Meanwhile start preparing for CAT and CUET. CAT will be this year and CUET next year!
Secondly, also do some HR related courses from paid sources like COURSERA or free sources like LinkedIn learning related to Labour Relations, talent acquisition, employee relations, employee engagement etc.

Hi! Since you have a good package already , MBA from tier 2 or 3 college wont help you add value in your career. If still you want to pursue an MBA then you should either go for a full time MBA from tier 1 college or you can also go for executive MBA but from tier 1 college only. Hope that helps! ☺️

Hello! I think it very much depends on your lifestyle. Till the time you are single this amount according to me is pretty good and will also allow you to do savings. But like I said it depends on your needs and wants too and also if you aren’t very extravagant (like me 😅) then this amount is decent.

Checked online. Their average package is around 12 lpa for thai course. Decent enough. But just remember take this course only if you are genuinely interested in analytics. Its a bit technical. If your interest lies in it then go for it because package is also decent only.

Hello! Assuming you are a fresher, IIT Kanpur is a good option. I googled and i see the median package to be something around 17-18 LPA. And since fees is also less so your ROI is definitely good. If IIT Kanpur is the best option you hold, go for it!

How do you rate IISc MBA in BA ???

First of all it is an unconventional course. It is not an MBA, but a fusion of Engineering and management.
Batch strength is around JUST 18.
The positions available after placements are in scientific, technical and leadership roles like ML and AI engineer, Data and Applied Science and Quantitative researcher and consultant roles..
I could not find placement numbers on their site specific to management for 2023/2024 which is strange.
I think IISc Banglore is more renowned for its technical programs. According to me should definitely not be your first choice.
But if you have a good amount of interest in learning BA, you can consider.

Hi! In private colleges there is no sure short distinction between tier 2 or 3 colleges. Most of the websites show these colleges as Tier 2. However to avoid confusion i have changed the caption a bit. Hope that helps

1) From my personal experience i have seen people in my team who passed out of baby IIM and were getting same package as me for same role and profile.
2) Mene recently switch kiya hai so two things matter : ek to experience. Jitna zada experience utna zada negotiation power. Dusra skills. Skills hoge agar apke according to their JD to unka ATS system apko shortlist to pakka kardega. Baaki ispar mei ek detailed video bnaugi jaha aur details de paugi.

Okay got it! Tension mat lo . Agar apko lagta hai that in the remaining 5-6 months aap CAT crack kar loge (including other exams like nmat,snap,xat) toh aap is time ek flexible working hours vali internship kar sakte ho and simultaneously prepare for the exam. And if you feel that you wont be able to crack the exam this year, then start looking for a job in your domain and prepare for CAT next year. I have seen many people who despite having 3-4 gap years have made it to big colleges. Interview is a step ahead of the exam. Apka focus abhi achhe marks lane par hona chahiye and if you manage to get a good percentile, your gap-years will become a secondary part.

Was looking at the placement reports for the college for 2023.
Highest package -25.50 lpa
Top 50% students got - 11.08 lpa
And max students were hired in Financial Service, Rating Agencies and Banking.
Fees - 15 lakhs approx
Considering these factors , i think college decent hai. If this is the best possible option you hold right now and you don’t want any more gap years go for it.
A side note - even if you go to Tier 2/3 college just try your best to remain in the cream and join the placement committee of college for better opportunities and better networking. All the very best 🥰

It depends on the company. During my placements, I remember companies like Infosys and TCS had a criteria of 60% in graduation. But then there were companies like Accenture and Deloitte who had no such criteria.
