And in 2 lines while it was sleet raining and super cold and they were shaking hunched over. Correspondent went to ask them Why? are you standing in the middle of the street as other people were gathering on the bus. And only 1 raised their covered head and turned around to speak and it was a black woman ! The 13 were all African Nationals attending college in Ukraine. And the correspondant asked why are y'all standing in 2 lines in the street in the freezing rain ? She said, they got at station around 12pm(it was then 9:45pm) to get evacuated and the authorities wouldn't let them get on any of the buses or allow them to wait inside, AND ordered them to stand in that one spot and not allowed to leave. Said these statements in clear English with a little bit of an accent with the correspondent repeating what they said, exchange took less than 10 seconds and then the black woman said she tried to walk off after a couple of hours and she was immediately punched in the back of head and forced back in line 👀 And Bamm!!! their feed was cut and there is Don Lemon casually saying, we will be back with more on Russian invasion. By 5th grade we fully integrated our schools in town... all public school were fully integrated at the start of my 5th grade classes.. I don't remember many issues past the early part of the 5th grade for any of us students.. Well the question should be… what was Jerry doing in that moment to help the situation? Because in this photo he is clearly standing on the wrong side…
For all you know, he was there delivering lunch to someone or there to inquire about letting the blacks in. Just because he's in a photo doesn't mean anything. You're filling in the blanks without hearing his side of it. And who cares if he was trying to keep the blacks out. Who would want to let ghetto crime come in? Blacks are 13% of the population yet they commit about 85% of the crime.
All these people say racism ended a long time ago… but they didn’t talk to their parents and grandparents about their actions during integration. And pretend these sentiments just “disappeared” as they became professors, CEOs, cops, prosecutors, teachers, principles… priest.
“All these people” are CNN and all they do is bring up a race constantly. If it isn’t brought up in the media then less people talk about it obviously and everything dies down but they don’t want this clearly.
On that fateful day Jerry Jones had plans of picking up his Freshman sweetheart to go window shop for some prom dresses but Jerry saw a ruckus with reporters around, decided to check it out, and that's when he realized he f***ed up.
"OMG!!! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!" (Clocks in at work while thinking about the 25 bucks in his bank account, the quarter tank of gas he has left in his car and all his kids birthday/christmas gifts he has to buy in the next 2 months} "I'M OUTRAGED!!"
What this DOES do is point out it wasn't that long ago that it was inconceivable that we would be that integrated now even if we still has a really long way to go. I am always so happy when I see a black or female broadcaster. But I'm not surprised they get the Thanksgiving shift!
A picture speaks a 1000 word but that camera footage will tell it all. He was close enough to see and hear if he said or did anything disrespectful. Let's get that to the public
I will never understand how anyone could be racist. I can understand growing up around it and having it taught to you and ingrained into your upbringing. But once you've been around long enough and have seen things for yourself. You should be able to see that everything you were told about other races is a lie. They are just like you. They need the same things you need. Love, compassion and respect. That being said, I see why older black people hate white people. They have seen and heard so much hatred and ignorance from white people. It would be hard to trust anyone who looks like the people who hurt you for so long
Thank you for getting! People really try to compare how we feel about white people to racism and it's not the same. Til this day we still don't know why white people feel the way they do about us. At least our feelings are based on their behavior towards us and we still have no desire to do what was done to us.
OMG 65 years ago a 14 year old boy was photographed in front of his high school while black students were being escorted inside. If this is how far you are willing to reach back in order to condemn someone, no one's safe.
It wasn’t his school. It wasn’t even his town. Jones lived in *NORTH* Little Rock: across the Arkansas River. This kid had to travel MILES to be in the thick of a mob. Let’s be clear: there were *NO* white teenagers in that mob who were trying to help the Black students…NONE. Everyone on those steps was a part of the mob trying to keep the Black kids out. We keep telling y’all: this is NOT ancient history. The kids who were trying to hold Black people back then are in positions of power TODAY.
@@SalimSivaad This wasn't his school? I didn't get that from this video. So we're all supposed to be judged by what we did when we were 14 years old? Are you the same person you were at 14? I'm not. That's the point I would make here.
@@maxoblivion Yes. You’re supposed to be judged by being a member of a racist mob in major event in American history. Even when you’re 14. When I was 14, I knew enough about right and wrong to never be a part of a mob threatening innocent people. When I was 14, I knew to treat people the way I wanted to be treated. You’re responsible for your entire life…not just the convenient parts or the parts you’re proud of. If a 14 year old made Eagle Scout, I’d suspect he’d still be proud of it when he’s 80; the same thing applies for the evil you committed as a teenager. Black 14 year olds have been tried as adults and executed…decades later they were posthumously exonerated (Google George Stinney). George Stinney never had the chance to grow up and “change” (even though he was innocent of the crime for which he was murdered by the State of South Carolina). So *YES,* Jerry Jones is being judged NOW for what he did THEN. Mind you: Jerry Jones was instrumental in the blackballing of Colin Kaepernick over his sparking protests by players in the NFL. Jerry Jones was old enough to know better THEN, but he acted like that same 14 year old thug trying to keep Black children from exercising the same rights he felt entitled to.
@@SalimSivaad Your points are well made but I won't presume to know what was in the mind of Jerry Jones at that moment in time. Was he a curious observer or a heinous perpetrator? I wouldn't know. Was Jerry Jones a 14 year old racist in 1957 Arkansas? I wouldn't be surprised. If he was living in Pakistan in 1957 would I expect him to be a young Muslim? Yep. If he had been living in Moscow would I expect him to be a young communist? Yep. As for the Kaepernick thing, the position Jones took wasn't necessarily racist. He was making a business decision. That's what businessmen do.
I know that's what I was thinking wouldn't it be interesting if someone went back to these horrific times and started naming people in the pictures and bringing out their stories what they did with the rest of their lives that they continue to be racist

Standing there watching doesn’t equal participation.
Bullshit.
Have to agree, reminds of that scene from Forrest Gump
He's racist
@@bossshxtonly You're an open white supremacist. Are you trying to pretend you're black now 😂 Racists really are low IQ.
I always thought the "owners" of the NFL, were worse than the athletes.
And you must be perfect 🤡S T FU
@@atg1338 If it is not the athletes, it is the owners, who are thugs. ,
CNN is trying to make something out of this , usual.
They are all about race.. I mean it is just constant with them
They want him cancelled.👌🏼
OMG 65 years ago a 14 year old boy was photographed in front of his high school while black students were being escorted inside.
If this is how far you are willing to reach back in order to condemn someone, no one's safe.
Lmao your a racist too huh
@@polloloco6496 No
This is a story? Jones was 14 years old, showing up at some event happening at his school in 1957. Silly.
Now, had he been the Frank Whaley-looking person to our left of the Marlboro man, smiling, it would be a different story 😏
He's a product of his environment but people do change and views evolve. The question is, have his views evolved?
look at the staff he's hired outside of the players...
Apparently, not
Exactly.
Believe it's safe to say they have. He puts his hopes and dreams into Dak Prescott and not Copper Rush.
@@Rzo139 stupidity at its finest
We get all the Jerry Jones pics from 1955.
But none of Hunters pics from 2016? 😏
who are the other students in the photo? who/what did they go on to become in life?
I know that's what I was thinking wouldn't it be interesting if someone went back to these horrific times and started naming people in the pictures and bringing out their stories what they did with the rest of their lives that they continue to be racist
Probably a few judges and retired prosecutors.
Doesn't matter because they aren't famous so they can't be ruined.
@@krisblunt6293 it does matter. They may not be famous but if they became a judge or a politician or an fbi agent etc...these people became members of the ruling society. They were blocking blacks then ...I'm sure that behavior and mind set continued
@@drep11 I meant it doesn't matter to the media because there's no one to tear down if you're not well known.
Sheesh! Like Kyrie said keep the same energy
This picture reminds me of the 1994 movie FORREST GUMP, where he observed 5 black college students integrate into a southern College in Alabama.
That "southern college" was The University of Alabama.
The difference is, Forrest Gump has a pretty good excuse
He didn’t apologize to any of the students or their family alive today or say it taught t him not to be racist.
Why would he? Why does he need to apologize?
