    In this clip, Damion Hall of the legendary group Guy, spoke with Shawn Prez about his early upbringing in New York City during the inception of hip-hop and the pretext for a paradigm shift in R&B. He also discussed some issues related to health and his personal experience with blood clots.
    In this clip, Damion Hall talked with Shawn Prez about his relationship with brothers Aaron and Todd both as siblings and musical collaborators. He recounted singing as part of the "Hall Brothers" church act before their foray into R&B years later. Damion also spoke about his relationship with his older brothers and his six younger siblings.

    My dad always told me this is our cousin and different stories about Aaron, Todd and Damion growing up together. I don't know them to much but I'ma watch it, they definitely come from the Romeo family though outta forest projects outta the bronx ✊🏽 my dad and his mom were extremely close ❤️ we definitely a singing family

      I made a comment about Forest Projects before reading your comment. I heard Aaron claim Brooklyn before but I definitely heard him claim Forest Projects also. Every year in Atlanta they have Bronx Day and Aaron was there repping the Bronx hardbody and naming all the hoods

Kelly was heavily influenced by the Isleys. The look, you might be right but musicially & vocally - Never! R. Kelly killed it with 12th Play and that album sounds nothing like Aaron!

    I was 11yrs old in 1988.. my uncle always listened to Guy so I did too and Guy has always been allat!! I always love seeing Damion dance!! He always kill'd it!! He's aging gracefully!! Still very handsome

    I was checking into my room in Indianapolis, Indiana for the Black Expo and I heard a voice behind me saying "sister you are rocking that buzzcut". I turned around and it was Damion Hall. He was absolutely humble, handsome and very respectful. We actually talked for a few hours before he had to fly home.

    It is always interesting to hear different interviews from time to time. I really like this interview thus far especially about how if Damion would have a disagreement or some type of problem with his other Aaron, Todd or even Teddy Riley they would go bowling. I was like wow, because I really like bowling myself. There just something about bowling that takes your mind off the daily pressures of this world that allow you to just fellowship with people & literally have a good time. You are able talk things out, refocus, reprioritized what is important & what is not important. Just keep it moving, always going forward never backward.

    I love guy. Aaron hall took a major L by letting his ego get the best of him. when he went solo. Teddy Riley was the master for the sound they had.

      facts, but he dropped don't be afraid, i miss you, lets make love, all the places i can kiss you, going down, and worked with big and pac when they were alive. aaron's solo career had two solid albums. and then they made III. if anything he proved he could make hits without teddy then got back with teddy and had guy's highest charting single. aaron cemented his legendary status individually and also boosted the group's status as a whole cause 2 legends 1 group.
