Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the highly anticipated action-RPG successor to the cult-classic Dragon’s Dogma released in 2012.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 boasts a richly detailed and deeply explorable fantasy world created using immersive physics, character AI and the latest in graphics from Capcom’s RE ENGINE.
This single player narrative driven action-RPG challenges players to use their creativity and curiosity to shape their own experience.
Whether it is your Arisen’s vocation, the Pawns selected for your party, or your approach to multi-faceted gameplay situations, the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 revolves around choice.
Both your party of Pawns and enemies alike will react dynamically to your actions on the battlefield, whether you cling to the backs of monsters or seek to dispatch them from afar.
Your vocation allows you to choose your playstyle, and whether you will use swords, bows, or potent magick to bring your foes to heel.
Key Features:
A Grand Adventure - Dragon’s Dogma 2 begins in a subterranean jail, where the Dragon’s voice echoes in the fog of lost memories. With their heart taken by the Dragon, the Arisen is set on a path to slay that symbol of the world’s destruction as it soars through the sky on massive wings, breathing flames that scorch everything in its path. With the Arisen’s future veiled in mystery, what challenges and triumphs await on the path to their destiny?
Single-Player Cooperation - Up to three mysterious otherworldly beings, known as Pawns, accompany the Arisen throughout their journey. Pawns create the feeling of a cooperative gameplay experience by offering unique characteristics, skills, and knowledge gained from their experiences with other Arisen.
Made with RE ENGINE - Capcom’s advanced RE ENGINE produces vividly detailed, high fidelity graphics combined with immersive physics and complex and reactive character AI to create a setting where decisions, and their consequences, come to life.

Frame gen makes a huge difference, Capcom really released this unfinished when a rtx 4090 with dlss couldnt hold 60fps 😅
shit has nothing to do with a 4090, it's the CPU that is struggling
@@ps82xela hence why I said "unfinished game" 🤷♂️
@@ps82xelaif you have cpu usage tracked whilst enabling FG you will see a noticeable drop in CPU usage, from 48% to 32% (watching it in real time) for me.
FG definitely lightens the load, but I’m no DF so I can’t confidently and correctly say why it helps CPU usage.
Edit : just realised, you can see it here in this video, his CPU utilisation is slightly more controlled and lower, when FG is enabled.
Have you had any crash when using frame gen? It’s giving me a headache… I found it crashed in some particular area, don’t know how to fix it. They said lock the refresh rate to 60fps but this doesn’t work😂 my config is 4090 with 12900k by the way
nvdia and steam overray all OFF
If that doesn't work game to option dlss speed
I locked the fps to 120 in nvidia control panel and in-game and the crashing stopped
?? what did you dont how do you lock 120 fps in control panel ?@@rbaz9454
Where u activate frame generation? I have a 4090 but cant see here
this is the new "but can it run crisis" game. top of the line hardware and it struggles
It’s funny hearing this with my humble 6800xt playing this game at 60 in 1800p on high mind u
4090 isn't much better than the 3090 in raw native 4K performance, just an increase of 30% fps from say 35 to 45 in cyberpunk with Psycho RT true max native and a far better than 12900KS with a 13900k or 14900k and DDR5. Wait for the 5090 and people actually using appropriate CPU's and you'll see the difference.
It's not max settings if you're using DLSS with Frame Gen. Max settings would be native :)
This game definitely suffers from cpu optimization. Gpu usage is ridiculous.
Yep, GPU should stay at 100% when uncapped, this kid is using a 12900K so can't expect too much from dated CPU and DDR4 ram.
If you can't hold at least a base fps of 60 using frame gen will feel terrible. You are still hitting 70-80fps with frame gen on meaning your base fps is around 35/40 which is gonna feel rough.
4090 : 45 fps lol
FG : freezing
Fuck
The fix is to cap at 100 fps in Nvidia Control Panel
@@zakbreeze5625 I tried many ways... not work
This game is depended on CPU not GPU.
No its not lol, max cpu usage is like 25% @ 13000k / 14900k lol
@@rtorbs But for lower CPU is almost 100%
Wtf
Oh its a mod kkkkkk
The performance is just awful. Cant play this game with any card without DLSS
Yet another ps3 looking unoptimised game in 2024 !!
🤣🤣my thoughts exactly. What is the play here? That video game lovers are so dumb they buy into any hype so devs just don't care about what they put out? I just don't get it because they have to test the game before selling it right? And they tried this on all tiers of modern PC's and were satisfied??😂😂😂
IM HAPPY with my 60fps , because : even with a 4090 and what ever this game looks land run ike S**** well done capcom you create a trash optimized game
Even on a 4090??? Crappy games keep popping up.
If u can look past the graphics and performance issues gameplay is amazing
@@pyroferno4644Yop, game is so funny except for optimization
@@StellarEVE2 In a good way or bad way?
@@pyroferno4644 Good way
Thank the shareholder gang
just finished a playthorugh of witcher 3, and it looks better than this imo.. much better game as well.. i might pick this up in 5-6 years for $15 with dlcs
this games graphics are beyond trash gameplay is awesome tho people can't stop dickriding capcom and admit it has bad graphics for 2024 game that costs 70 bucks!
@@lilitu9923 If the gameplay is awesome then I don't care that much about the graphics.
@sakatagintoki2835 OK gameplay is good
The game should cost 50$ at max
Because the graphics is trash for 2024 and we can't accept it
@@iikon01 From my experience the greatest games usually don't have the best graphics but yeah it should be 60$ not 70$.
@sakatagintoki2835 it's about the Era
We are on 2024 it's realistic games Era and unreal engine 5 and crazy graphics
We just want games with brutal gameplay and beautiful graphics
Both is needed
I hate games with just a good graphics but a bad gameplay
And I don't accept a game with good gameplay and bad graphics in 2024 ,
Can you imagine the witcher 3 next gen is a game from 2016 but with a little reshade preset from the original company
It look muchhhh better than the dragon dogma 2 the 2024 game
That's making me really mad
Capcom is a huge company why this 2024 game look much worse than palworld which is an indie project
That's embarrassing Capcom
This game should cost 40$ because the graphics is trash for 2024
Exactly how are the graphics not amazing I don't understand this whole thing
@CheeseCakeAwakesFTW OK look
We are in 2024
But Capcom released dragon dogma 2 but with 2015 games graphics and very bad optimization too ,
You know why we are very disappointed?
From what we saw In the trailers the hype was so high
We imagined dd2 to have very beautiful visual like unreal engine 5 games with realistic texture and moving grass and ray tracing and those things
But look at the game man
That's a scam ! They showed something good in the trailers but the final game is very bad 👎🏼
I know the gameplay is good but can't enjoy it with that very old outdated graphics
you kidding me? the graphical fidelity is amazing, especially for an open world game. The gritty design with dark colors really fit the whole thing.
@zolo4600 take a look at the grass and trees man it's look like paper !
Can you compare it with even the witcher 3?
Rdr2 from 2019 it's x4 times better than this
Of course we are disappointed man
Why 2024 game worse looking than 2016 and 2019 games?
And the thing making it more worse it's getting less fps than the rdr2 too from 2019 !!
Rdr2 too not only look x5 times better but also get you better fps too !
Are you gonna defend dd2 again now?
@zolo4600 This might be art style but in 2024 cold colors are not the thing anymore they could've made green coloring a bit vibrant. When you get the Battahl you can understand what i mean. This game offers unique gameplay but thats all nothing more. Literally DD1 reboot. This game should've released between 2013-16 not 2024. For its price point there are way better games that offers really good story, graphics and gameplay. Even almost 10 years old Withcer 3 looks better than this with way bigger map to play around.
So, happt i canceled my pre-order 3 days before release and got Forbidden West & its 10× better optimized then the crap development of this game.
This game has shit optimization sure but I'd argue that the actual game minus the performance issues and microtransactions is better than Forbidden West.
