I mean a CPU bottleneck at native 4k with raytracing is quite an achievement!. We're also talking about one of the fastest CPUs on the market here.
CPU bottleneck ? He is hard in the GPU limit, 100% load and a power draw up to 420 watts !, CPU has a good load too, but not realy hard, only 160 watts. Only in cities is a little bit of bottleneck, GPU drops to 90 % sometimes.

I have the rtx 4090 but an i9 13900k and its interesting to see, we get pretty much the same fps in the open world but then in the city it just TANKS and i mean 50s-60s with some stutter to 40s!

Being able to get a most stable 60fps in the cities even with ray tracing is nice. It's just too bad that you need the most powerful CPU on the market to even manage 60fps in cities.
How much do you think the FPS will improve with DLSS? Probably won't change a whole lot because that only effects the GPU.
I have the rtx 4090 and i9 14900kf and it runs and looks beautiful.

I think it's great, I love RPG games so maybe that is not saying much on my part. But it's so open and not on rails, and you can just explore for hours.

I use the Nvidia one but it doesn't record it.
I know the msi afterurnet but it bothers me since they are dedicated to putting viruses and I already had to format my PC 🙈

Hi, why you have the Cpu on Overclock at 5.9 Ghz , i think Autoclock is higher Frequenzy in Games
I don't have it on all core overclock at 5.9ghz. The i9 14900ks will only boost to 6.2ghz when only 2 cores are being used. If the game used less cores, then you would see a higher boost
I have a 6900XT, Ryzen 5900x and 32gb of ram. Still the game runs very poorly. Could you give us some tips on graphics options? The video of the 7900 is without comments.
I show my settings at the start of the video, and I used maximum settings. I don't have any tips, I just brute force better performance, with better hardware.

The game is very CPU (threads) heavy, so you probably need to scale your res accordingly. Frankly, this game/engine isn’t well optimized. Hopefully, patches (game and drivers) will correct things 👍
Your rig isn't good enough for high fps in this game, I'm afraid. The game is doing so much with its systems all working dynamically with very complex A.I CPU draw calls. Zen 5 / Arrow Lake will be what we need for this game to run like butter.
@@Venom_Byte No You are wrong that city is not as complex as Night city in cyberpunk which is heavily packed with npc with all the Raytracing effects which is cpu heavy and yet you dont see such terrible cpu optimization in cyberpunk. This game is an unoptimized trash. stop lying to the audience and acting like a fanboy.

Yeah, personally I think that it looks really nice in places. There's just nothing that I can see to justify that poor performance though. RDR2 - from five years ago (PC) - literally runs 50fps quicker, whilst also looking better. The cities in Dragon's Dogma also look half empty compared to the likes of Novigrad and Beauclair inTW3, yet the game is still taxing as all hell on the CPU in them in Dragon's Dogma because the way that they have optimized the NPCs. It's just lazy and there's no way that the devs couldn't have known it runs like crap before release.
@@thanekrios3211rdr2 runs about 80-110fps in the wild and doesn't look like this at all. Rdr2 looks pretty barren.. Mostly grass not many cliffs and trees. People want sick graphics but run it on sub par hardware... Everyone wants high/ultra but not a 4090..
@@moejahi3d3Yeah, I own Red Dead on PC and it doesn't look 'barren' at all. There are plenty of wooded areas and mountainous terrain. Also, Dragon's Dogma, even on max settings has shadows popping out, npcs appearing or disappearing and lod switching close to the player. Please don't make excuses for the crappy optimization of this game. It doesn't even look close to good enough for a 4090 to be dropping to 45fps, which is what's happening in some videos and which is frankly just ridiculous.
@@moejahi3d3rdr2 is old game that runs on old consoles ,Dogma 2 is great game but optimization is poor its already well documented bang has literally high end tunned hardware that costs huge amount of money ,game is average looking for new release there is nothing stunning about that idk if u played any other games in recent years but game has just ok visuals Horizont for example looks better runs way better and its new release on consoles too

The game looks like hot garbage graphically while running like a total a$s on the best available hardware. Then we have HFW that looks like 5x better and runs 5x better too. There is that.
