Great commentary Joe Onit! It's Cushing Shaun. 1. You missed 3 deadly fire balls that went off! 2 early game, and one late game. 2.The Carthage player left when he had 5 units left! So an Ai was controlling him. 3. Me and my teamate are very experienced players, but I suck at micromanagement! I do admit we didn't show much love to our hastati, you taught me something about turning your artillery inwards, and the attackers could of easily won this battle! Thank you for covering my replay Joe Onit and I will tune in to more of your videos!
Glad I was able to cover your replay also I am sorry for missing out on some parts of it. I try to get better with every battle, but some things are missed lol. Happy you enjoyed it also!
Unbalievable end ! on this map it always should be 2 vs 3 , always 1 more attacker. Almost impossible to take this settlement with even numbers of players.... I enjoyd this siege verry much. I think all players had fun this game, so its a win win. THANKS fot posting that game bud .
Nabateas general did quite a bit of push through in my opinion towards the end there and honestly frustrated me a little haha. I absolutely loved those two roman units fighting back to back tho early on!
Yeah I got really angry when he did that, I was 1 of the roman players it was fun winning, especially since they where so sure they would win the the beginning of the battle
I'm the Roman player Cushing Shaun. Believe it or not there was 3 more fiery balls of justice that worked off screen; I can give you the information to send to Apollo. Don't forget about Joe Onit though, make sure you stay subscribed, and keep up to date with everything he's doing my man!
@@Tjaycrown Nice fighting bro, it was 3v2 and stiil one. I think I know how to send to Apollo??? Im in his dicord. I tried once before. Yes im subscribed to joe 👍
Fireballs are the only acceptable deployables in my opinion. Good on the defenders for pulling off a 2v3 win. If that last pike unit was engaged I don’t think it would have worked out the same though.
21:10 I'm guessing he was using that Royal Peltasts unit to stealthily dismantle the fireballs since the unit has no banner (banner being stuck on the 1 guy in tower), pretty creative use of the glitch imho, creating a makeshift ninja
Great work by the Roman's .... Makes me wonder if the Seleucid player left. His Phalanx / Pikes would have turned the tide providing they didn't get lit up by the Fireballs of Justice as Apollo calls them.
I'm Cushing Shaun the Roman player; and he rage quit with 4 depleted units left plus that one Pikemen unit! If he didn't leave we would have the lost the battle.
Slow paced, but a great ending. The slow pace from the attackers came back to bite them, for sure. I hate deployables, too, but since they were 2 vs 3 I think it's fair enough here.
3v2's can be epic.I love doing em,but I've only done like 3.Btw Joe I know this is real old,I'm watching malte playing cause he's in my discord and mentioned this vid

Is easy to see the leak of experience on the players in this battle, however the way that they played was beautiful, they used units not like some stats group's, they used their units purely battle style, so even for those who think themselves high and mighty, this battle was better then 100 battles played by players with experience...
I was the Roman Player Cushing Shaun a couple things you missed. 1. The Carthaginian Player left with about 5 units left. 2. Me and Malte are very experienced players; but me in particular suck at micromanagement. I also threw away my hastati, and any good player would have capitalized on the costly mistakes we made. 3. Joe Onit missed a few key parts of the battle, and he missed 3 fiery balls of justice moments; and a tactical engagement on the left side of the map. Overall I played like a mediocre to below average player because I spread my forces to thin. I totally agree though, this was my favorite battle I've ever took part in!
@@Tjaycrown Nevertheless mate it was nice to see something different and human like behaviour regarding you're unit's, then that "pro" playing where ppl just understand the mechanics of the game and the use the units like block of stats against other black of different stats.

hi, amazing battle, i love the battles where it's a defending army which is outnumbered. One question, which unit is better to use, armoured legionaries or evocati cohort, because when i do play rome i always have a difficult time choosing.
tbh i was confused with the Romans units where they were not charging but staying in like a shieldwall but still this was a funny battle with you saying the fireball when they explode near a unit they would do damage but no like explosive shots on the arty so thats alot talking about explosive but i feel like this was more of a educational video rather than a fighting video still great video finally the Romans has a victory cause usally i see players use Rome then they lose haha
