Proud to be here! Today, I was the one sending the video. It was my first on Rome 2 and I lost, but I am happy with the result, despite many mistakes, part of them were because of not knowing the map. Thanks Joe!
Interesting battle. Not a fan of watching or playing 2v2. Prefer by far 3v3 and 4v4. But this was a learning, commentary, Arrows and tips and tricks replay. Well done. These sieges I’ve said in past comments are very necessary for the community and for the players themselves. Regardless of skill/play level tips and tricks never hurt. Absolutely attackers should’ve scouted other two entrances into the town center would’ve forced defenders to leave units there to guard them. Also interesting army composition for both sides. Maybe new or newer players, but that is fine and great. It’s important for Joe and community to watch and help all who play regardless of skill. Excellent commentary and asking community “what would you do?” Great idea. Keep the murder sticks coming bud!
For sure sending my general to scout the other side , just to be sure there no chariots or elefants waiting over there. So if needed you can prepare and hold somme arrows for the elef... Even on this map in the endgame and you still have so much units each player should attack 1 side in my opinion. Now def range can choose wich unit to shoot AND only have to focus on one spot. So 1 attacker should wait unthill his ally is also reddy to go , doh give the units cover while waiting; And attack together. Would be the best scenario in my opinion;
GG to all players ! only pitty the galatian player used explosive shots and not even used all his ammo. Thank you joe ! again youre did youre best to make sommething enjoyable for us !! and for sure this players had a lot of fun playing this game...
Regarding shield wall, there are only 3 times where I ever uses it- when holding a pinch point buying time for my other units to get around the rear, bracing against calvary charges, and when facing a barage of missile fires. Other than that, it's not needed.
Yo, Joe, I have something funny and interesting for you. I was playing with Parthia today, and was fighting the Odysseians. I was charging Archers when my cav changed Therastion nobles instead. I ended up losing this whole unit. The game can be weird something.

Keep on going, bud. We all started somewhere! Again, good job!

Yeah, I agree, 3v3s and 4v4s are much more fun, but I wanted to try something a little different here!

I think the noble horse should have scouted the other way in
I’m gonna comment online campaign series until it happens .

Thracian Nobles are BRUTAL!!
@joeonitproductions They are
And my cav decided that the whole army was not worth it, but only the Therastion warriors.
Thracian nobles have a hidden bonus vs large that doesn't show when you look at the stats but it is there.
@jamesfox686 oh yes they do
These people are in my discord i actaully watched it
Cool deal!
I was taras
