Look at you
You are nice
Yes, I will.
Listening to you is my job.
I'm a full time and happy retired. The best job.
Thanks for your videos
Lol,
I work full-time as a biometric engineer. My aspirations are to help the environment, keep road safety and develop future cars, such as environmentally friendly smart cars but cost efficient and practical. I'm also trying to do certain family duties, such as meeting people, securing deals and helping out people who have difficulty with money, by offering them internships. So far this year 2000 more people work as interns and that's 500 more than last year. And I don't get promotions because my father's not the CEO but incharge of some work relative activities of the country of Norway. Sometimes I'm told off, hearing from people around me "Don't work so much there's other duties to preform." And I respond "I want to work for my wages and I do my responsibilities don't I?" Then the same family people say "Yes, you strange child." But I believe in work and it's amazing. Earning a wage is amazing and overall I want to develop and thrive Norway, because that's where I'm working. I also learnt English and continue to study English and watch your videos Anna. Oh recently there's been some political stress in the North Cape region, and that's where some infustructers lay with polotainum plants, which is also part of the environmental friendly programs set up there. But overall...not too stressed I guess💥😁 Learning a lot, I liked your videos Anna English yes!!!! 👍😅

No confusion if you have been working for 5 years in the UK. It is easier to understand than in the video. Job is the profession and work your daily work. When you are delivering with a vehicle, each delivery is a job. How many jobs do you have for today?
Thnkx for the lesson
Great Lesson Anna English
I love the love how you make your work for us. And I guess it's not your official job.
You're such a inspiration to me who want to be a successful teacher one day.
Correction: I love THE WAY YOU WORK. :) .I am glad you found it inspiring. What will you teach? English?
@@EnglishLikeANative thanks for correcting me. Yeah, English! hands down!! But my current course is supposed to finishing in 2024. Yet, I'm looking for extra curricular courses in order to get the best basis as possible so far. Your channel is a source of information and inspiration at the same time.
Thanks for your consideration Anna!
Great!!!
I work on weekends as a part-time job which is teaching, I teach 9 lessons each day which make 18 lessons every weekend. It's tiring but gives me an experience towards my career.
Hello Anna,
Thank you very much for this extremely useful lesson.
I follow you from Iraq.
With regards.
Your speech is superb love you anna 😍😘♥️

Excuse me for jumping into the chat, but I want to talk about the word resign. In Spain, if you want to resign whatever the reason or reasons why you want to quit you must make communication by hand or typing 15 days before. If you don't, the company can make an economic punishment by each day you have left your job with anticipation. But if you are fired, sucked, or how you want to call it. You can get an agreement with the compensation or sue the company and later going to a trial, and "The honor" (judge ) will decide how much will be the compensation. In here there is compensation for 33 days by years worked, before 2012 was 45 days by worked ones.
Great lesson! Damián from Argentina 🙂
Thanks ma'am

Hi Anna. Thanks for this good lesson. In Italian we have the word "lavoro" towards the English words "work", " job" and "labour" where their meaning is slightly differentt (you've well explained it about the first one e the second one. A focus on the word "labour" would be interesting. Goodbye.

Dear Anna,
Thanks a lot for what you`re doing! Like your videos and just adore your accent. Could you clarify its one peculiarity for me? I`ve noticed you pronounce 'work' as [wɔːk] instead of [wɜːk]. I`d be really grateful!
Hi for example i love voice your
I like your name too Miss Anna
Currently my job is not that satisfying so I'm planning to hunt for a greener pasture haha bless me good luck
you are very nice teacher & very beautiful lady I love u so much God bless you.
I have no idea how works labor laws in the UK. Bear in mind. England was the cradle of the industrial revolution in the 19th Century, above all Manchester.
Thanks for a quick lesson. BTW, I still don't know how to tell "profession" from "occupation", using them randomly.
An Occupation is the work you do for your wages. It can apply to any job, skilled or unskilled, as it's a general term for what you do for your pay. A Profession is is work that requires extensive training to be qualified, usually a university degree. Doctors, lawyers, teachers and similar. There is also another area called a Trade. It requires less training than a profession but more than unskilled labor. Plumbers, HVAC or electricians.
Examples of unskilled labor would be a store clerk, janitorial or farm laborers.
These are general definitions and examples from my American point of view . In everyday usage, most people don't differentiate the terms and use them interchangeably in my experience. I hope I've helped and am sorry if I've made things more confusing.
👍! 🇧🇷
I like read the dress
This is a top not a dress. A dress is one piece. This is just for the top half of your body. Thank you, I am glad you like it.
Hello Anna. Why you didn't talk about being sacked for dismissal?
My job is a nightmare...! I think I should resign ;p ... it was a helpful content
🗽
Oh my God!! I work 40 hours for week!!!
I work 40 hours A week. :)
"I'm over the moon"
Is it a formal?
I mean can I use it in academic language for ielts ?
It's colloquial slang. Used in informal conversation. In a formal setting, you would be better served by saying very or extremely pleased.
Hi! Can I activate subtitles,?
Hello, Anna. Are aspiration and ambition the same thing? Are they synonyms?
They are similar but aspire is more like your long term dream, your ambition is what you are working towards in the present time. I aspire to have a million subscribers, it’s my ambition to create two videos a week for the next six months.
Thank you very much, Anna!

What's the difference between resign and step down?
Very little in definition and can be used interchangeably. There can be subtle difference in the terms , at least to American ears. To a lot of us, resign is closer to "quitting", while stepping down is more like "retiring" even though both of those words mean the same thing in the end. That person will not be working here anymore. As i said, it's a very subtle difference that may not be shared by all english speakers.
