Okay, hands down obliterates anything the Fable community has put together before in a long time. If they don't put it in Fable 4 we're petitioning Molyneux to say it's in there anyway.
Thanks man! Hearing you say that, means a lot to me. Though I doubt someone like Peter Molyneux would care about anything I would make haha. But I appreciate the sentiments all the same :)
@@AvariceOverlord The game should be set up inside the 500 years between Fable 1 and 2 and will also be a reboot. Maybe we will see how the civlillans destroeyd the entire heroes guild and killed most of the heores. Scythe and a few others could escaped this brutal slaughter. What do you think would happen if Scythe would in an reboot interact with Theresa? After fable 2 Scythe meet up with a resurrectet Rose. Its stupid he werent in Fable 2 or 3.
@@Kira-is9vu It would be great if they made it fill in the gaps between either before the Heroes Guild or if like you say, it filled in the games between Fable 1 and 2. So much time was skipped and they could have kept the medieval fantasy theme going a bit longer. Fable 3 was a good game, but I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the first two.
The use of in game dialogue to stimulate a conversation rather than silent scenes and just text was really well done, but I do have to take issue with Scythe giving Jack a lecture on the importance of the oracle near the start, haha. But that’s a nitpick, this was overall really cool and very well done! A project that came together very well and depicted what could have been an epic duel if we ever got to see it, but great work overall! ♥️
Thanks mate! I put a lot of effort into trying to piece things together. A lot of it was driven by the dialogue and trying to think of how I can visualise that. But I definitely agree that Scythe's introduction to it all is a little drawn out, haha and as always I appreciate the feedback! Unfortunately Scythe doesn't have a lot of dialogue or animations to work with, but I feel like I made it seem somewhat coherent with what you see in the cutscene. The different Jack voices is also a little jarring, but it's just a bullet I have to bite.
Yeah, I thought that would be a nice little detail to add since when you play as Jack at the end, the Guildmaster still talks to you through the Guild Seal haha. It's almost like your character just has PTSD now.
Been looking forward to this and you didn't disappoint! Now we need a fully extended "good ending" (if you can truly call it that) where Scythe and Theresa finally meet.
Haha, I was considering doing something like that, while I was working on this. But I don't really know what I could do with that just yet. Glad to hear you enjoyed this one! It's a shame because some of the animations used actually have more than one animation, but with the method I have used, you can't just choose which animation out of that set that you would like to use. So there are a couple of instances where it looks like the same animation is repeating or is used frequently when it really shouldn't (since it changes every time you use them). Thanks mate!
Hey, thank you for the nice words! :) The more I worked on it and read their dialogue, the more I realised I could work with it. I feel like the effort really paid off. Yes, the song at the end is Escape from Fable 3.
Thank you, I am glad to hear that you thought it was that believable! I was going for a "what if the story continued after the Evil Ending" kind of thing :)
That's kind of the reason why I made this video, yeah lol. And it's not really head canon to be honest, as it has been confirmed by the developers numerous times that this is true. Dene Carter himself has even wrote a little story about what would happen if Theresa and Scythe were to ever meet, which I made a cutscene for as well on my channel, if you are interested. While it wasn't their original intention for the character "Scythe" to become William Black, it is what he became in The Lost Chapters version. Since they thought he would fit the lore like you mentioned and they hadn't used him in the game yet at this point.
Now here’s the interesting thing- Scythe is possibly William Black or at least the remains of him. Black was the one who defeated the original Jack of Blades as well as the Knight and Queen of Blades. While the Queen was much stronger than Jack, Jack still survived by pulling the mask trick of trapping his essence into it and to possess whoever worn the mask. Black used the sword of Aeons to beat the 3 blades of the Court (possibly related to the Shadow court in Fable2). If you play all evil choices in TLC, including wearing Jack’s mask in the end, the only hero left is Scythe, aka William Black. Naturally, Jack’s first target after possessing you would be to destroy the last and oldest guild hero remaining, Scythe, the one who was responsible for beating Jack in the Void World-the place where Jack’s body opened a Vortex to, and where you have the choice to throw the sword of aeons into. Another thing is that the sword of Aeons was also only a fraction of its real power in the game than when it was used by Black vs Queen of Blades. It would require more of the Archon’s bloodline to be drawn, including the hero’s and Theresa’s. Having Scythe, who formally wielded the Sword of Aeons as Black, flee to the Guild in this video to grab the Avo’s Tear is a super great touch and probably exactly what would happen. Last fun fact is that Jack wears two masks on his belt to represent the Knight and Queen of Blades. The happy face is rumored to be the Knight, the angry face is rumored to be the Queen. The last piece missing from this video instead of the summoning of trolls and minions would of been Jack/You stabbing Scythe on the floor with the sword of Aeons and then either stealing his soul to offer as tribute to potentially reviving the Queen of Blades after burning down Snowspire Village and destroying the Oracle after getting the needed information and become King of Blades of a newly created Court that rules Albion, hence fulfilling the Snowspire prophecy of the opening of the bronze gate being the end of the world. It is also rumored that Jack/Hero would rebuild the Tattered Spire and then feed Scythe/Former William Black/First Archon’s soul to power it, which in the time of the last Archon, it caused a massive implosion between the real world and the Void, which is exactly what Jack would need to either reach old powers of the Blades Court and become its new King of Blades. This game’s lore is actually one of the best of lots of games out there, shame what it became.
Thanks for telling me how you feel about it! If I could get the audio for my own voice in there, I would probably do it and add my own characters / dialogue. But it seems that isn't possible yet with the current modding tools :'(
@@AvariceOverlord Oh it's already fine with the animation. Just thought it would be easier to focus on the audio. Like the added text on some of your videos were mute and thought you could deep fake audio the filling.
