Bricks patterns that are stood up like the blue tile are called a Soilder coarse. Brick patterns that are staggard like the white tile are called a running bond.
Look for tiles from the spanish brand WOW. They sell them in the USA also. Gonna use them in about 2 weeks for my new kitchen. Not cheap but very nice.
Hi, Happy New Year! The bathroom looks great. Just wondered if you have covered the glass shower screen install or preferred suppliers etc previously? Thanks.
Amazing, love the play on finishes. Great craftsmanship ! The only criticism I have is the vanity and cabinet colors are out of place. That natural tone wood does not go well. It looks like it was reused from a previous install. Should have been white or blue. Just some good faith criticism. In all, the job is spectacular. !!
None of the other grout joints on the white tile walls line up though. They are all running bond. Wouldn’t it have been just as odd to have them line up on the pony wall and no where else? I’m guessing the wall is wider than 1 tile and they went for consistency…
super nice washroom. the cobalt blue tile is awesome, and the contrast to the brushed bronze metal hardware is great. that tub also will be a great soaker. however, the silicone job on the glass partition bottom of the shower is terrible. sorry, but its awful. you did sell me on using the laticrete hydro ban paintable water membrane. gonna redo my shower with your tips. Thanks!
Coach! How do you avoid lippage, I can't stand lippage! (4 x 8 tile) And what is acceptable to you for lippage? I'm a tech-teacher / wood worker and use to dealing with very close tolerances to "perfect", but tiling is not wood. Thank you
Hey Coach I have marble white tiles to lay on in my shower. Small tiles for shower floor and big pieces for walls. Many tiles workers told me not to put marble showers in the shower because the get scratches and the must be sealer every 6 months because they will start turning yellow. . Please help me out with this. I got tiles for free.
Totally off topic of video but I'm reaching out to ask a question about the schluter shower tray,,,trying to install one that is 36×72 and the drain is off center bye 3" and can't be moved ?
Do to floor Joyce that's load bearing,,,can you trim 1 side and and slide over to center then reattach the cut peice to the other side ??? Basically using the membrane???
Might be me, but I'd walk into that bathroom and instantly think it's dated. I don't get a "modern" feeling from it all. Probably date it back roughly 10 to 15 years.
PLease tell me the large format veiny fake marble tile look is dead. So busy and zero staying power IMO. White porcelain with black fixtures is TIMELESS!
I just see hard to clean in every feature of this. Dark tiles and soap scum, claw tub adds so much hard to reach spots for yuck, and those sinks underhung. I hope there's at least a drain in the middle of the floor so they can hose that out.
I laughed out loud when you said that’s the kids bathroom! 😂 1000 times better then my master bathroom 🤷♂️
It’s kind of sad that we have to work in million dollar houses to make a living but… it is what it is
Its pretty awesome I get to work in multi-million dollar houses and get paid a bunch of money for it. Fix your mind dude
That is crazy right?!?

nice - I think I would have gone with the royal or darker blue cabinets to tie it all in, but looks great!
Love the blue tiles

Great look, would be nice to know how much it costs. Many clients have no idea that jobs like these are not cheap!

Tile coach, give us some videos on the business side of things! How you bid jobs and what not. 👍

Tiled bathrooms are like a work of art.
Wow the blue is beautiful 👍👍
I just hit play. I hope to see you wearing a headlamp ;)
Y'all killed it!
Beautiful bathroom! Well done!
Back to a more traditional look
Tile Coach, do you have any advice on an epoxy floor shower to tile wall transition? Thanks in advance, you rock!
Looks great! I like it. Nice execution.

Quality work! Love how the glass panel “wraps” around tile trim. Can you please the maker of such custom panels?

You are correct. I will edit the comment. Thank you.
No worries, I sweat those details too.

Nice work
The quality of work looks really good. The finishes don’t really tie in all that great though
How many guys did it take to get that tub in there!?
Isaac, why didn't you line up the handheld shower head (4:04) with the tile grout line! I am outraged. :D (joking, looks amazing!)
Zehr gut!

I like the colored tiles, absolutely hate white subway tile, especially with dark grout!

Hahaha! Im not the only one with a thing for microfiber rags
Did you use bright white grout ?

How long did it take you
to remodel this bathroom?
That bath selection has too may things going on. The cabinets do not go with the room
If there is a lid for the toilet why do people leave it open???
I second a previous commenter, would love to know the price tag on a job like this.

You haven't been around long if you think that's what bathrooms looked like 10-15 years ago
We have hard water in SW Washington, need durability not trendy
Record for times Matte Black has been said in 5 minutes. 😂

That bathroom is hideous. Will be outdated in 5 years tops
Not liking all the different finishes. Just because your in California doesn't mean you have it all figured out. Shout out to AZ
Bad tile selection.. very boring
Love the blue tiles
