Set 1 1:42 - Animal 12:53 - Rockdale 26:38 - Silver Rising (Rick had mic problems) 39:42 - Wysteria Lane > 58:41 - Electric Avenue Set 2: 1:08:23 - Fish in the Sea 1:19:40 - Tumble 1:32:40 - Red Bird > 1:49:45 - Moby > 1:53:42 - Slow Ready 2:06:35 - The Empress of Organos Encore: 2:25:35 - Arcadia
My first show… flew in from Oregon. Thanks to my brother in law for hooking up the tickets and a place to stay in Fort Collins. What a blast… haven’t had that much fun in 20 years! This band is for real. In line with phish, ekoostik hookah, SCI, dead and the rest of the best.
I don’t know if the geese themselves will ever see this but this was my first real concert and I had such an incredible time. I can’t wait to go to the next show!
Flew out from central NY to see this show with my son who lives in Denver. With jet lag I still was able to dance to my favorite band because the vibe is intense. Take it from an old DeadHead, the reason why this band is a perfect storm is kind of like this. The criteria of any jamband is first, of course, the jam ; second is a set of soulful (Hunter-Barlow-like) lyrics ; but vocals? Well let’s face it, we can take it or leave it; most of us jamband fans are most forgiving in this criteria. But here’s the thing: GOOSE has fulfilled all of these precepts. They score 100 on the rubric. (Collllllll-ege)I knew it as soon as I heard them playing on top of Rockefeller in NYC during pandemic times. So traveling to Denver on a weekend was an easy decision for me. My bucket list is Goosemas. Hope to get there some year soon. ❤
Central New York representing… wooohoooo, Utica here. Well said and I particularly dig Ricks voice. It’s got that raspiness to it, yet clear and smooth. Coming from a cat that can’t sing a lick…, lol
@@lonnyg5535 I met Jeff in Dillon summer of 22, he was super patient with a superfan. And I talked to Pete after Orebolo at Northlands this past summer, and he was super patient with a drunken superfan 🤣
Just moved to Ft. Collins. Rode my bike to the venue since it was less than a mile away. Was blessed with a brisk fall evening and one hell of a show!! GRATEFUL!!✌️
This was a very good show. I felt that the first night of Red Rocks was the best of tour but this was excellent, too. 2nd night of Red Rocks had a rather lame first set, but set 2 was off the chain. This show is average-great to start off, but picks up steam with Electric Avenue. 2nd set is the best of Goose. Anyone wanting to introduce a friend to Goose should either give them SPAC or this 2nd set. High level stuff here.
You can tell from comments in these threads and the bandcamp site that they have attracted a wider audience than just jam-band aficionados. When I see people saying their favorite track is Slow Ready, which was merely a cool-down from 25 minutes of pure HOSE, I know that they aren’t hearing what’s really going on here. These guys have evolved FAST. Prob the nonstop touring is the biggest factor in that, but they are super tight. Wysteria Lane and Red Bird are transcendent jams. Red Bird is likely one of the two or three best type 2 masterpieces I’ve heard from them all year. But my point is that they are reaching and winning over people who have no clue about that stuff. They have enough meat on the bone to satisfy all-comers which is a rare combination with bands like this. Exquisite song construction combined with well-tuned inter-band dynamics and superior musicianship. Hope this isn’t their peak, because their trajectory is exciting.
Trying very hard to make it Goosemas... Looking like it will have to be another year, but I can't wait to catch you all on the spring tour! Thanks for bringing so much joy to my life daily!!
GREAT BALLS OF FIRE 🔥 I had to work and I missed what may possibly be my dream show - albeit without Madhuvan, Jive I, Jive II & a cover of Ain't Life Grand
The covers that Goose selects are always entertaining - love their personal stamp that they apply! I wonder if they have ever considered covering REO's Riding The Storm Out. It already has the makings of an extended jam. I'm sure that Rick could easily transform the original six power chord progression into something with much more finesse.
Man they are playing so well, and yet Rick's new tone is really difficult to listen to. Can someone please help him warm it up and round out the tone asap. Please and thank you.

My first goose show, new fan for life

Met Peter and Jeff after the show, super nice guys! Beyond lucky to have been in attendance.
I'm surprised Jeff was nice!

You can hear the sound of new fans being made at various points in this stream.
CSU students got a treat here... incredible Gooseness throughout
Hands down... my favorite band!
The light crew is on another level! So is the band. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!!
Goedde is the GOAT! HONK!
That bass line in Animal was very Phishy, in a good way.

Goose IS going to be the headliner at Woodstock 2 at Lake Helen Florida Field in May 2024 - pass on the word !!!

Gooooooose!!!!!
Goooooose! Best band ever ❤
This Tumble is pure excellence
Just past the 45:00 mark things really start to groove a la GD. This band is good!
If you're looking for GD groove may i suggest the salt lake City show with Mississippi half step
no, they’re goose
You have good ears. That Red Bird was a transcendent jam in the middle of set 2. Very Trey/Jerryesque. One of the best jams of the year
Goose is still just rising higher and higher! These guys got a helluva set list
𝕮𝖔𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖌𝖊
Had similar mic issues at Paramount in Seattle. Still a dope show!
I thought Arcadia in cincy 12/30/22 was the best ever - - till THIS one !! Wow , what a slammer !
this makes me so f*&%$#@g happy, I cry.
Is that a Halloween (movie) theme tease by Peter during the Red Bird jam???? Approx. 1:42:24
in….
In love with them
Yeah Bud! 👍

Yes, watching the trajectory is much fun. I want to see them headline an Alpine double-nighter.
Redbird is usually a reba-ish jam.
Request: a video for Electric Avenue, can we take this higher? ✨
Great job GOOSE in dealing with the sound system issues. I wonder what really happened.?
For you and your friends
THIS SET LIST!!! Note to self.... never miss a CSU Show!
There in spirit ❤
What a treasure trove of awesomeness! 😊
Patiently waiting for my chance to catch these guys live! ❤
when are you coming in Italy?
Trying very hard to make it Goosemas... Looking like it will have to be another year, but I can't wait to catch you all on the spring tour! Thanks for bringing so much joy to my life daily!!

GREAT BALLS OF FIRE 🔥 I had to work and I missed what may possibly be my dream show - albeit without Madhuvan, Jive I, Jive II & a cover of Ain't Life Grand
Great to be there! Thanks for putting this one out!!
*8/12 songs performed tonight also performed Red Rocks 08/18/2022
These guys are so fun!!🎉❤
Good stuff 👍
RedBird = 🔥
I wish I was at this show on a dose of mushrooms. That would have been mind blowing.
omg the magic school bus theme
Dig it!!
Honk...what a treat for the Students. When I went there in '94 all that came through was Sponge. Ripoff
I really wanted them to play Red Bird at Red Rocks but they didn’t 😩
Any1 else catch the echo on Silver Rising when Rick sings solo? Is that a tech thing or just from the venue? Either way, I dig it…
College!
‘College!’
Mic goes out on Wysteria Lane? No problem, just let's get weird and let the lighting team at it.
To old for college!! Thank you for releasing this show to all!!!
🔥

I like their Hollywood Nights better than the original.
Saw them play a yeti>pumped up kicks>yeti completely insane.
Ermaaahgerd sooooo awesome
So that 4th song definitely had a little magic school busthrown in there right or was I just high af? Haha
47:55 Is this the Arther theme?
Excellent setlist, excellent performance. Superior to either of the Red Rocks shows.
Maybe to night one. Night two RRX was electric just like FOCO. They were both straight 🔥
@@gregostlund6168 nah. CSU was way better.
Anyone know why Peter says "happy 12th birthday" on the Red Rocks upload?
Steph saw your response in my e-mail notifications, thanks! Not sure why it doesn't show up here.
reminds me of Saratoga
💃💃💃❣️
The more I listen the more I like these guys!
Roll on Bristol Thekla, 18 Nov

Wow so original. Goose fans barf.
How many audio engineers does it take to plug in a microphone?
