They've done that to me multiple times, and it's so unexpected, every time. The "Lead The Way" from Thornville in June 2021, the "Elmeg" from Denver 7/9 (I think), and others, they just hit you in completely incredible ways.

When they did it in the fall 2021, with the "boot scootin' tempo", as Lindsay called it somewhere when chronicling the shows, I fell in love with that version. This song to me before, for some reason, was just meh, but boy, I'm glad I came back to listen to this again. I DO love the "boot scootin" version with the uptempo on the verses and chorus more than this reggae version, but overall, I'm in love with this song after being initially indifferent. Someone else said "I love how Goose covers their own songs", meaning how they will take their own songs and rework them boldly, and this is one that I am definitely glad they've done that to.
I chased the original all summer and never got it, got the boot scootin version on NYE and was very bittersweet at the fact it may be a while until they bust this version back out. The songs finding it shape still I think.
Playing this while watching some fireworks on 4th of July Weekend and I must say it just goes so perfect! Thank you again Goose and hope y'all have a great holiday weekend! Happy 4th! 🎇🇺🇸✌️

Is that venue really that small? After the monster setup at Leg Valley, that almost looks like a private show. Just right to drop a 20 min type II. One of the most jammed out performances in the last year or so.
It was slightly bigger than what I was expecting first time there! Large drive-in theatre tucked into the edge of a forest with grass areas as well. V cool.
The charcoal corral is located just outside of Perry NY about a .25 mile from beautiful Silver lake.. it's a very small summer cottage area in the middle of rolling farm lands.
Just dialed in at 2:58 randomly. I came to disqualify all the gapers who aren't dancing. They are not allowed to buy any more Goose tix until I say so. Squanderers!! Plus the person in charge of selling sponsorships. Stage garbage. It's teh visual equivalent of a car alarm going off the whole time. We need people with reverence for this blessing. UGH!!
Wow that was phenomenal. Did not think it was 52 minutes. Not to be hater, but Jeff brings zero to the table and actually brings the band down a little bit. Percussionists can bring a lot to band like with moe or Umphrey's, but Jeff barely can keep a beat.
Still a top 5 musical moment for Goose... absolutely unbelievable. Waiting for Chateau Pt 2 to start right now!!!
