Damnit this song is incredible! How would you describe the section that starts at 13:12? It's mostly the bass changing, but I freaking love that section and they don't always play it on "Creatures", and always wanted to have a way to refer to that section. I always wanna call it an Eastern European march/walk, but don't really know why I want to do that. Also, the little five second lick at 14:39 slays me!
Why do guitarists use effects pedals? It's not like he's using it as a crutch, it's just an effect on some songs. Showing their indie and electronic influences. Personally I love it.
I've gotten over this same concern, myself. He doesn't use it on many songs, so it's clearly their choice and they gotta try what they feel. It's fun to be a part of the process, because it's a process.
It's a style thing. It's something that they think adds a nice layer to the song, in the same way an organ would sound better than a saxophone if that's what they think the song would need. It's not a crutch, we all know he doesn't need it. Stop looking at "autotune" as something that a singer needs to sound good.
Great jam. Wish I could have been there!
Thanks my favorite song

Autotune? Sheeshus. I missed the Harmonies at Okee. So I added them myself. :D. See ya next time.
I agree. That autotune vocal sound ruins it.
It's fine I guess. It's as if you told an AI bot, "make jamband music".
Y does the best singer in the jam scene since jerry need to use a vocalizer?
I am wondering the same exact thing

just a vibe they are going for. He obviously doesnt need it he isnt doing it cause he doesnt think he can sing at a high level.
