You guys are my perfect channel: traveling, hiking and eating! I’m loving bingeing everything you’ve put out and using it to plan my next trips. Thank you for all your work on these!
I’ve lived in Denver for almost 9 years and you even showed me new things about the city! Fun fact: the string lights above Larimer Street are there year round! They’ve been up for years ☺️ glad you enjoyed everywhere you went!
LOVE those lights on Larimer Street! Such a cute part of downtown! So happy we could show you some new things too. 😄 What are your favorite spots in Denver?
i'm from denver and hearing about the switch from 60 degrees and sunny to freezing and snowing made me laugh. love this video and all the places you chose are fantastic
Next time your here you need to hit the food vendors 16th st. Mall in the middle, you also need to hit up Breakfast On Broadway, Boney's BBQ off 16th and Champa, Bastien's on east Colfax, also try Denver Ted's
I love Denver biscuit company on Colfax and then in the afternooon it turns into Sully's and that pizza is amazing. Tocabe is my place, next time check out the corn stew with cheese and a frybread, that is some good eats. I miss Denver, I lived there over a 20 year time frame. It's a great place to live, but so expensive now, sad.
Love that they change the concept to pizza after breakfast! Thanks for the Tocabe tip! And yeah, it seems like every cool city in the US is getting crazy expensive now.
I love telling this story. I live closer to the airport are Northeast of Denver. About 4 or 5 years ago I went for an 8 mile run (so, maybe an hour and 45 minutes or so). I was wearing athletic shorts and a wicking short sleeve T-shirt (temp was around 60-63 or so). By the last 1/2 mile of my run it was snowing and in the mid-30's. Weather can be wild here.
I know this is 2y old now, but the food scene in Denver keeps getting better and better. When I moved here it was kind of boring, aside from a few spots. Just nothing I thought of as a gem. Now there are quite a few worth driving the 45 mins down to Denver.
@@AdventuresofAplusK Absolutely, I am planning a trip to Vegas over Thanksgiving and planning to visit all the spots you mentioned on your blog earlier. I can't wait to try the Macadamia Latte you suggested at Public US Coffee shop haha, we are also doing Zion and Antelope canyon, and horseshoe bend. Thanks to you.
You guys tried out some great places! I hope you got a chance to try some delicious green chili! I’m sure it’s too late now, but Burrito Giant in the Berkley area has yummy breakfast burritos and their green chili is one of my absolute faves!! ...very spicy though 🥰
It’s a great city! They have such good food there. We had so many other spots we wanted to try, but we gotta keep our wallets and stomachs under control lol! 🤣
Wow that really made me hungry 😋 Denver looks a real cool city even with the snow ⛄️ , we have had snow here in Wales already too an it’s still autumn , can’t wait for the next episode 👍
I'd have definitely tried that SPSL too! Fry bread tacos are a guilty pleasure of mine. I love all the art! That flight of ice cream is making me envious. If you're into that kind of vibe, I really enjoyed Revival Food Hall in Chicago, near Millennium Park, I love being able to eat a bunch of different foods in one spot.

I tried Huckleberry Roasters off Pecos (the one you went to) one time after watching this video. I only ordered a drip coffee but it's a nice little shop.
@@AdventuresofAplusK If you're ever here again and want to make a 20-30 minute trek out of the way to try other coffee shops, check out Brewing Market in Boulder County, Ozo Coffee in Boulder County, Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters in Lakewood, Westminster and Arvada, Cannon Mine Coffee in Lafayette, OTIS Craft Collective in Lafayette, Ampersand Coffee Roasters in Boulder, Pauls Coffee and Tea in Louisville, Bittersweet in Louisville, Giovanitti Coffee Roasters in Louisville, and East Simpson Coffee Co in Lafayette.

Hey, my day program and I went to explore RiNo yesterday. We stopped at the Denver Central Market, and I got a coffee from the Crema Coffeehouse location inside there, which is right next to the High Point Creamery in there.
Was planning to head to Denver to visit the Denver mint but the mint has still been closed since March 😠when I’m there I will definitely go to these places they look really yummy!
When you said RiNo I thought you were going to eat bbq there's a bbq place in RiNo call owlbear famous for its central Texas style bbq with its own twist.
There was a coffee shop in Lafayette, Colorado, which is about 35-40 minutes north and slightly west of Denver, called Cannon Mine Coffee, that had been open since 1995, that went out of business this week due to Covid. Tuesday was their last day open. This coffee shop held tons of entertainment. Game days, open mic nights, poetry nights, live music nights, singer-songwriter nights, and karaoke nights. It really sucks to see community staples like that, especially ones that have lasted 27 years, go out of business.
Went to the Denver biscuit Co(The East colfax branch) in 2019 while on vacation from UK. I had the shrimp and grits biscuit with an egg on top and my son had the sausage gravy and bacon one.. Delicious!
how have I not seen this one?! I'm so glad that you got to explore Denver! I live here and I am always looking to try a new coffee shop. I will have to try the huckleberry!!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I live north of denver so I usually try the ones up here around the Loveland area. I think I'm finally stepping away from Stabucks! lol
I'm a Denver native, you hit some good spots although there is so much to explore here. Tocabe is one of my staples although I go to the south Denver one more often. Other places to check out, the Stanley Marketplace (east Denver) a restaurant called Annette's there has amazing food and cocktails! The shops and eateries along Broadway, the Highland area has some notable restaurants but since you hit up Little Man ice cream you may already have eaten around there. Next time you are in the Art district check out Tacos de Mexico for the best breakfast burritos. Downtown Historic Littleton is just south of Denver and is super cute to visit and walk around, plenty to eat there including great breakfast places Bacon Social House and Toast. Wash Park (Washington) is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Denver. I love just walking around the lake. There is a Cajun/Creole restaurant nearby called Lucille's that is absolutely worth going to and Washington Park Grille is a romantic place to finish a day.
We did all of this from about 8 AM-5 PM or so! And we’d highly recommend it all. Veronica had some good suggestions as well. Red Rocks is beautiful if you don’t mind a little drive out of town!
Adventures of A plus K ah thanks! I won’t be driving. Some told me to catch a train from the airport. It’ll be that or uber for me!!! Thank you! I am still watching...the murals are my thing! So definitely that! I also would like to find a place where i can just sit and chill for a while...THANK YOU!
Can I ask where you two stayed while in Denver? Visiting the Denver burbs and not really feeling it. Told my wife if we come back here again, we’re staying in a hotel. One near some civilization would be nice.
I honestly don't remember, but we travel in a van, so it was likely a parking lot of some sort that we legally were able to park overnight in. So definitely not what you would want to experience lol
For food: We love Humboldt Farm Fresh Wine, True Food Kitchen, Root Down, Quiero Arepas and Sweet Action Ice Cream, off the top of our heads. For hikes: We could message you some amazing hikes that aren't well known to "out of towners" so the trails are less trafficked. Other stuff: If you haven't been to Estes Park, going in the fall to see the Elk Migration is pretty cool; they walk right through the middle of the town. Beautiful town regardless as it backs up to RMNP. Oh, and paddleboarding on the Alpine Lakes in RMNP is pretty amazing! The Georgetown Loop Railroad is very scenic and the town of Georgetown is cute; feels like it's stuck in the early 1900's. As we think of other things, we can message you. :-)
Ooo thanks y’all!! We loved Quiero Arepas and we actually went to Root Down at the airport before flying to Hawaii, sooo good! I’ll message y’all next time we will be in Colorado to get all of your secret tips 😉
What a great overview of Denver! I recently read about all of the murals and seeing them in your video made me really want to visit. Side Note: give some vegan options a try. You’ll be surprised at how many vegan versions of the foods you enjoy exist now, even in Denver. They’re healthier too :)
We love murals! And we have tried vegan food in the past and love vegan ice cream. We respect everyone's personal choice of how they choose to eat, but for us, we enjoy and our body benefits from a diet that includes meat. 😊
Had some time today and watched exploring Hawaii volcanoes,Hilo food and waterfalls and this video. All 3 videos are great. Please don't change a thing as you get more popular.Be safe, and remember Jesus loves you!
We love Seattle! But we are biased since we lived there. But the diverse things to do near Seattle can’t be beat. There’s the ocean, lakes, mountains, national parks, rainforests, and so much more!
Very helpful video! We're visiting next month around the same time you guys did last year (we are from TX as well and a little nervous about the cold too). What part of Denver do you recommend on staying at to get the best experience?
Hopefully y’all will not get a random October snow storm like we did lol! We really like the LoHi area of Denver. It’s walkable to downtown and lots of cool stuff nearby. We also loved the Tennyson Ave area. It has great restaurants (this is where we went to Denver biscuit co) and a cool neighborhood vibe. We stayed in the River North Arts District on our first trip at an Airbnb, but we couldn’t walk anywhere and last time we were in our van. But if we were to get an Airbnb it would be one of those spots I mentioned above!
I'm from Texas aswell and ill be visiting Denver in early December, do you recommend a rental car or just using Uber. I have no experience driving in the snow
Do you plan to just explore the city? Or go out for some hikes? If just the city, you should be fine with Uber. But if you want to go out and see some nature, we’d recommend a car for sure 😄 You could probably find some hikes without having to drive in the snow.
I really hope people look at you video especially if they're new and planning on visiting people always think that Colorado is known for is rockies mountain oysters which is bull testicles but no one here in Colorado actually eat it well maybe some people. But what I'm trying to say is thank you Colorado has more food than people think but a lot of people are like Colorado is known for bull testicles? Thank you for visiting my home state I hope people watch this and know Colorado has more to offer than just bull testicles.
@@AdventuresofAplusK I'll never understand why people think its something that Colorado is known for I mean how many people know about the rocky mountain pizza? Not that much people and the food you where eating I was born here and yet never heard of it. I've heard of the rockies mountain oysters from man v.s. food its really unbelievable that people think bull testicles is what Colorado is known for if you ever come back to Colorado do one about the rocky mountain pizza please and thank you.

My brother owns Little Man Ice Cream and we're really proud of what he has created. He has a half-dozen locations throughout Denver and the Front Range each with their own name and theme, a couple of them that memorialize our parents. There is the Little Man Ice Cream Factory on West Colfax, Sweet Cooie's in the Congress Park district, The Constellation at East Bridge and most recently, a Little Man on South University. All are uniquely different but have the same great quality and flavors! Check 'em out!

We love Seattle! But we are biased since we lived there. But the diverse things to do near Seattle can’t be beat. There’s the ocean, lakes, mountains, national parks, rainforests, and so much more!
Adventures of A plus K yea Denver is awesome but it is land locked Seattle offers a lot
Gotta come back and brewery hop!!
We don't drink, but we hear Denver is great for those who do!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Thank you so much!
@@AdventuresofAplusK do you recommend renting a car in Denver 🙏???
Next tike go to chubbys off of 38th.Also New Mexico Allsups gas station has chimichangas to die for
Thank you so much for the recommendations! 🙌🏼
High Point is the best 🍦in Denver!! 😀
Yesss! So glad we picked a good one! It came highly recommended and definitely lived up to the hype! 🙌🏼
did u stop at a denver dispensary before going to biscuit co?? 🤣🤣😂 - but seriously your vids are great i’ll be in co next week!
Haha, that's not for us, but I am sure it's a great spot for those who do.
@@AdventuresofAplusK haha all jokes. glad i stumbled on your channel!
Please come back. Next Denver downtown coffee and Korean BBQ are on me...
We will definitely be back!
Random question. His grey hoodie that he is wearing, what brand is it? I love it and can’t find one like it 😂
I’m pretty sure it’s Old Navy!
🤔
I dream of pine state biscuit, best biscuits thus far.
Sooo good! Adam loved both!
Hahahaha tbh we didn’t even think of eating those 🤣
@@AdventuresofAplusK I'll never understand why people think its something that Colorado is known for I mean how many people know about the rocky mountain pizza? Not that much people and the food you where eating I was born here and yet never heard of it. I've heard of the rockies mountain oysters from man v.s. food its really unbelievable that people think bull testicles is what Colorado is known for if you ever come back to Colorado do one about the rocky mountain pizza please and thank you.
Thank you for the video I’m taking notes for my Nov trip. Love it thank you
Going there next week. Do you thin I should rent a car in Denver? or its not necessary?
Hi Adrian! Do you plan to leave the city or just hang out in Denver?
Fry bread is like pizza or tacos, finger eating food. 😂
Pretty sure most of it would’ve ended up on us if we ate that with our hands!
U guys should keep the name of the restaurant at the top, and let us know the price
We put all of the restaurant names in the description if you want to check them out! We’ll try to state the price more 😄
👍Yummm!
Such a great food day!!! 🤤
Hey I just recently landed a job at a coffee shop in downtown Boulder so if you guys are ever here again you should come get a coffee from me!
Congrats! Thanks for the offer!
@@AdventuresofAplusKthank you! It’s called Bitty and Beau’s Coffee.
Heart attack on a plate!
For real!!!
Love Colorado! #TravelsBySG
film more of the van!! :)
We enjoy filming travel videos wayyy more than van videos, but it’ll make another appearance pretty soon as we explore more national parks! What all do you want to see about the van?
@@AdventuresofAplusK I'd love to see something like an everyday life living in the fan. Routines, what you love, what you would change. I aspire to have a van one say soon and enjoy seeing how others use their builds.
We actually just wrote a whole blog post about our first 6 months in the van, including some of those things! adventuresofaplusk.com/6-months-van-life-highs-and-lows/

5:00 is what I would call a plate of diabetes, however, it does look delicious.
Everything is fine in moderation 😊
@@AdventuresofAplusK Absolutely! I couldn't agree more. 😃
Oh that is so cool! Way to go to your brother! He makes spectacular ice cream! Any time we're in the area we'll definitely be getting some Little Man Ice Cream!
