8mm socket
flat screw driver
10" extension 1/2 drive
ratchet
funnel
Parts needed:
Oil filter element: part# A2701800109
Oil needed:
Mobil 0w-40 advance fully synthetic motor oil

You should change the filter before draining the oil. Some oil is held in the filter housing until the filter is removed.

I have the GLA 250 2015 and and it was a 27mm socket for the oil filter cap.

24mm socket didn’t work in my case, and although the filter cap has “25” written on it, only a 27mm fit correctly 😮

Never use a metal tool to slip a new O Ring onto the oil filter!! Even a slight nick will ruin it's function!
