I used freedompop for 4 years and it was alright, but I recomend switching to red pocket.

When it first started they sold an attachment to turn an iPod touch into a phone with this service. but yeah, when it comes down to it, it you offer a free service, however you make money is gonna be shady.

This service just always seemed shady to me, kind of like some of the free dial-up internet services from back in the day, so I just avoided it.

Netzero and Juno always provide free internet for Dial-up users at 10 hours a month, if you signed up for both services like I did then you get 20 hours a month to use wherever you can find a phone jack to use a modem.

1. it keep deactive me. 2. after cancel they still charge me. call them , they said will refund. 3. port out pin in website is wrong. you have to ask them get right pin.
