How to INSTANTLY Boost cell phone reception FREE

Need to instantly boost your cell phone reception without buying extra boosters etc? We learned this important tip awhile ago but its not too well known. All phones now use 5G, LTE or 4G, but often times you'll get a stronger cell signal when switching to the older 3G networks! It may not be as fast as the newer networks, but in a tight spot this can really help you out to get some kind of service if you're in a small town or rural area where newer network reception may be limited. Remember if you put 3G only mode on now in 2024 you will suspend your network.
And depending on your cell phone network or service. It can be pain to get turned or unsuspended.

Bummer, I was hoping for some tips but 3G is no longer available in USA for data usage so now we have no reception in our local schools because they are built of brick and concrete.

Idk about your phone but I can go as low as 2G lol

Have you tried going back into this menu area and flipping back to LTE or other? Sometimes LTE will produce a better signal than 5G

The menu has changed a bit since this video. It’s under setttings. cellular. Cellular data options. Voice and data. Can change to LTE now (4g). The 3G option is removed

OK. Just because the bars on your phone show all bars up, like mine do right now, I get crappy reception. The bars on one brand of cell phone are different from someone else’s. None are the same. It’s all BS. I did a test more than one actually, and my reception sucks. I don’t care what the bars show.

You are correct Ken! Smartphone manufacturers technically control their own "bars" and how they look. We've had great bars in some areas too but data/call reception isn't good... so take this with a grain of salt
