Wish more people would comment on these the types of videos, I live in a rural area, with limited cell service, outside most days are ok, inside my house, not so great. I’m ok with that, but at my cabin, it would be nice to know (before spending the money), if something like this would work with tendering a mobile hotspot to my smart tv.
Same situation. I live in a very rural place. And live in a metal building. Inside there's 0 service and the only internet provided is DSL. So ~10mb down and .5 up on a good day IF IT WORKS
@@OrchidFlame so my town has a ATT tower and I’m about 3 miles through a canyon from it. In the city all carriers work well. I currently have ATT and Verizon both newer iPhones. The Verizon gets zero service at the canyon. Att gets bars but can’t load any pages or even perform a speed test it’s so low. I sometimes get texts and calls but usually they will populate once I go back to town. I installed the Weboost and ATT is lighting fast at cabin now. Same as the town speed. Verizon gets zero signal still. Kinda confused but don’t care and I’m gonna keep ATT.
Thanks for this review! I had already decided to go with the weboost multi room model. But was still questioning whether it was the best or not. This video helped me be confident in my decision. Thanks.
Is there a way to limit the devices that can benefit of the amplification ? Imagine that i use it where a lot of people use their cell phone to surf on internet. I guess that it could limit my own use ? Can we admin the accessibility of the boost as we would do with a wifi installation ?
I don't think your carrier will allow to do this. They can sometimes detect this and if they do they could potentially terminate your contract or line for "gatekeeping"
I have a question: So, what about if my Wifi home internet is Verizon, but my phones all works with ATT? I have to sett it up just with one company? Because the the two towers are really close one to each other
What really makes me mad is that no place on the net, including here, can a person find a straight answer about how far the booster radiates a usable signal. Square footage is BS because distance from the repeater antenna is what matters. Due to this over sight - this video is garbage.

And I'm in a mettle building there was 0 sig before I hooked it up now I can watch videos text and talk on the phone love it !! Ebay !!

The weboost went out on me in under a year out of no where it just lost power and I couldn’t get it back working 😢
Does anyone know which USA carrier corresponds to the UK broadband supplier THREE?
At 3:09 they show a sewer vent on a roof, lmao,
It also looks like the ''exhaust pipe'' that's on my roof for my propane wall furnace.
you can mount the antenna on it@@rachelrodgers9171

att can give you a cell booster that will run off of your home internet.
How can this be the best signal boosters for 2024 when the video was made a year ago?
He found the answer sheet while the teacher stepped out for coffee break
He used a crystal ball.
@@dougmyers8767 Both good answers...I did wonder if, buy any chance, he had a DeLorean in his driveway?

Well you dont want "best boosters for 2024" when the year is over.
can this work in the uk for EE or Vodafone
Will this work on Roger here in Canada? I have no signal once i go down to the Basement.
Yes
They all look good but I'm needing one for Australian mobile.
you didnt bother with the output and frequency specs
mobile data is only strong outside the house but inside that's the problem.. but i don't know if these so called boosters really help..
yes it's 100% help, but just remember that the concret wall will lower the signal. Choose the best location!
Signal booster support 5g which one?
