I had a pin made years ago for an MB100 with an offset centre reducing the stroke. Cost about $1k including the dummy pin used for assembly and testing. Also cut down a FZR. Turned a 4cyl into a twin, the reverse of your work. Slowly working my way through your vids
@@OddsandEndsMachining yes, for bucket racing. The MB made 30hp at the wheel in the end. The FZR has seen 32+ at the back wheel but it had a little accident. The new motor is sweet so far. Time for some boost
Great work. Loving the progress and looking forward to seeing the engine run. Cheers
Awesome work! Enjoying your "get it done" attitude. Looking forward to hearing it fire up.
I’m definitely looking forward to wrapping this project up. It seems the more I get done the more there is to do haha.
Nice one.

They sound like some pretty neat projects, were you using them for bucket racing?

@@OddsandEndsMachining I have an MB engine in an FZR250 chassis making an easy 24.7hp at the moment
That’s pretty cool, seeing the fzr would be pretty neat. That’s a lot of power for a bucket.
How “hard” were those flywheels? Did they file decently?
They were likely just 4140 they were harder than mild steel but still filed ok and machined leaving a very good finish.
You should watch CEE out of Australia..he's an amazing machinist and I bet he would give you some tips..on another note I love your work man 🤘
Thanks, I’ve been watching his channel for a while now, he’s a pretty clever dude, he deals with some big jobs.
Hi your machine is to fast slow it down so if you are doing 125 mm. per min. go to 95 mm. per min. i hope this will help you
