Looks great I'll have to get one for my collection make a great addition thanks for a great video
Super clean and super nice Matt! I think the AMT 67 Fairlane has the same wonky wheel position problem. Glad you solved it.
Got the same one , got it 30 years ago , have not built it yet ! How ever i have so many , i will get to it soon , i hope . Great job on yours ❤
That looks great, nice touch with the overspray!
Thanks! 👍
Fantastic work! 👍
wow man, what a work of art... fantastic... I love this color, totally old school... my uncle had a Chevrolet Opala (the Brazilian version of the Chevy Nova SS, but with a 2.5 6-cylinder in-line engine, it has version 4.1 too, this one, very strong) in this same color...
Very cool! Thanks
Very neat! Got one in the stash - looking forward to building it!!
That is sharp as a tack ! Enjoy the show.
Looks sweet. That clear coat gives a nice reflection. Appreciate you taking the time with the tires.
Thanks
She's a beaut! Hopefully I'll see you at the show tomorrow (Saturday, 20-May-23).
It was great to finally get to meet you Mike!

Looks really nice, gotta have plug wires- so I'll never do box stock
Beautiful 😊
Thanks
Another beauty!!! Love this one!!! The color works well with car!!
Thanks Chris!
Super nice Matt. I have this kit and need to bust it out.
Thanks
Nice clean build… build on 👍
Thanks Dewayne!
This kit is essentially the same as the '66 Fairlane and the front suspension was a problem from day one, ride height being the main issue. It looks like they may have fixed that a bit on this version, yours looks good and not way up in the air. The car looks great overall. Issues I've had with these (Fairlane/Comet) are the lack of shock towers and the open element air cleaner is too small. I've ordered and am waiting for my paint and accessories from Hobby Nut. Many items on back order
Thanks Timothy!
Nice 😅
looks like the real deal Matt
Thanks
Looking good, wonder how well it will place at the show. I wasn't able to get to the Hobby Town USA, April show to give you a synopsis, and photos of it, due to dealing with cataract surgeries last month. They have another one in late August/ early September so I will make plans to go to that one. And let you know what I think about it. Good luck at the show.
Thanks Charles!
👀❤
Very nicely done on that Mercury Cyclone Matt! Love the clean crisp detail all around and good luck at the show Saturday!
Thanks John!
Nice work. I think the must have got measurements from one that got punch in the nose.
Lol! Yep!
🤓👍
Good luck at Simpsonville. I will not be able to make it .
Yeah I missed not seeing you there.
@@modelcarvideos5829 I had to have some cancer removed from my back. Did you or Ruth win anything beside praise?
Very nice! The more sedate color looks great and fits the era of the car.
I spend way to much time on chassis, so I really appreciated this build! Your chassis looked awesome. I think you may have convinced me to get a Comet Cyclone kit.
(Model cars with Glen )doesn't need a driveshaft 😄
Lol!!
Awesome build love the color.👍 What color are you going to paint the Ferrari testarossa?
Probably red! Lol
May we see a big rig build sometime ?
Not until I have more room to display it.
Looks awesome Matt. Should be great in the box stock glass. Have fun at the show. Ron
Thanks!
She's a beaut. Well done.
Thanks
