The Plastic Modelers Club did a great job putting on their 6th annual Model Contest and Swap Meet. Speaking of Swap Meet, there were plenty of good deals and it seemed like everyone was walking away with more kits for their stash!! 🙂👍
The weathering job on the '53 Chevy in the thumbnail was incredible. Looks like it's been sitting in the back yard for 25 years. Seen a yellow Mustang w/gray primer hood like that as well. Now that's some weathering technics.
My lord… I have been watching a lot of modeling shows… and this by far has had the most unique and… just superb models… I am speechless… Kentucky must be the HUB of badass modeling…from the cars…bikes… and the dioramas….Tanks…and that blue jet with the realistic flames coming out… I am just out of it…. Some of this models were unreal… very nice show and very cool video… Man I couldn’t take my eyes away…

I would love to see some of the more unique custom builds made into a die cast , not all of us are as talented as most of these builders , and it would be nice to have a replica of some of these builds. Simply awesome. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
I used to to that level of modeling work 47 years ago. i made the wiring, hoses ect. from the part trees. they are still in my attic and some still are together and look pretty good. wow really nice work shown in this show. some of the blended paint jobs i cant even imagine how it was even done.
I think every Mechanic when young built model cars , which was a good thing , it started a life long love of cars . Modelers of to day are carrying the same tradition . The models today are just great signs of workmanship .

That was absolutely amazing! My friend and I used to enter our cars in model car contests back when we were teens. Never won, but always enjoyed seeing all the other entries. I got a chuckle out of seeing the "Delta" car and float cake from Animal House! Thanks for posting this!

@@THROTTLEPOWER Sure, it's now called Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. They do concerts all summer, and there is a museum too. I've been to a few concerts but not the museum yet. It's a really nice place, if you're ever in the area you should check it out.

I restore real older Mopar's and as a kid I built model kits...I watch these videos and think maybe I should pick up a vintage model kit and build one..Then again,It might be to addicting and detract from my work restoring old cars lol...Anyways,Great Job!!

Love the models.. Although all of my collection is 118 scale die-cast Nearly 400 of these things.. All in a rental storage building I never get to see ! All different brands Some old mostly muscle cars..

@@THROTTLEPOWER love the 350z… test drove one… it was just to small for me… I am 6’6” 260… I had a hard time getting in and out of that car… But have always loved the body style.. And that blue model of the Z was nice as hell… just wish he could have manipulated the back axle and wheels.
Looks like you found several Jo Han kits ..They are rare as hens teeth..the only Jo Han I've found and built so far is the 31 Cadillac V16 I found at a garage sale a few months ago...

I have been looking for a 92 thru 97 chevy or GMC ext cab single rear wheel pickup, but cannot find one at all, why didnt any model company ever offer one? One of the most common trucks on the road and millions sold, tons of custom trucks out there too one of which I own, but to find a model of one that dosent have duallys or 4x4 really upsets me, just a basic ext cab single wheel truck is all I ask, I own a 97 GMC 1500 with 6ft box and cant find one anywhere as a model, WTH???
There are dozens of amt 93, 94 chevy c-1500 extended cab single rear wheel pickup promos on ebay in 1/25 scale. Different colors available. Came out of Chicago and now available on eBay. Great as is or kit bashing. There is one seller that has a 1/25 Dodge club cab body available on eBay. Search 1/25 Dodge club cab and 1/25 Chevy extended cab to find them.
