He is the German Freestyle Legend from the '80-'90 I skate a Lot of time with him. First time i See him at " Münster Monster Mastership" in the '80 Günter & Rodney are awesome
nothing in live is certain but death, taxes and Günther shredding freestyle events. Gonna be a sad sad day when he will stop competing. I hope he can take this as far as his body lets him.
I met Gunter personally in 2015, when he came to Rio de Janeiro to compete in the "Big Rio Freestyle Contest". I always watched his old videos from the 80s, and it was a pleasure to see his skills in person. he returned to brazil in 2016-17 and in 2019 we competed together at the big rio pro/am, where i get 1st place. gunter took 3rd but skated very well. It's great to see him active at the age of 59.
The more I watch other people’s runs, the more confused I am about Andy receiving first place. Not the biggest Andy fan, he’s good for sure but it didn’t show in this contest. Guenter should have won, hands down.
This guy is super impressive, and the tuckknee spacewalk was the best trick of the event, but Andy's run was almost flawless, and the difficulty was way up there too. I think he'd agree with the rankings.

This was incredible. I don't think most people can comprehend how difficult that backwards tuck knee wheelie to spacewalk is. What a legend!

Just my personal opinion, but I think he was docked down for a few step off's.
