Very slick and easy to implement. Quick question, is it possible to have multiple ranges setup but using additional Game Logic modules in different areas, with different names? Or is the Game Logic name tied (I'm assuming so) the underlying script? Thanks for sharing.
You can have more, just rename iCenter to something else and make sure you change the name in the script. Probably need to change the script name also, meaning a change in the laptop code as well.
You dont show how to correctly implement the map, or how to do it yourself with the editor which is what I expected, or where exactly is the facility in the map (whicxh may be unnecessary if it is correctly implemented, but I dont know it isnt working)
@Franekblack2601 it's a default Arma 3 map, Altis. It doesn't need to be 'implemented' it's there when you load the editor. Anyone who has ever played Arma 3 knows exactly what map it is, ans where on the map this is. It's on the salt flats in the north east of the map. And with the sample mission YOU SPAWN THERE, so I have no idea how you were not able to find it....
Great video, thanks for making this. Do you know if there is a way to set this up to use something like a rectangular trigger area instead of a circular distance? Would help when trying to set up different firing lanes. Thanks.
You can increase the 160 to increase the range and just place the targets within the lanes. Or you can try this one.. ua-cam.com/video/g__Hq5nYsYk/v-deo.htmlsi=TIFxB865PFFxh36X
Very nice Marksman Range mate! I'm right now trying to implement it into a map, but If I place the Targets inside a house, they fall trough the floor. Any Idea how to fix this?
@@OnlineCombatBN Yessir, it seems when I add the "Init"-Code that they start falling trough. If I remove it, it's back to normal, even floating in air. I've actually noticed, that even in your Vid, the small box they stand on, drops into the ground. That might be the issue, but I'm not as advanced in coding, to find the issue myself.
@@OnlineCombatBN it works regardless of the distance, my problem was because I did not enter the code in the init of the targets, therefore I already managed to make it work in my mission, thanks friend
Great work!

Not sure why they would be falling through the floor. Have you tried placing them a tiny bit above the floor?

Hi mate, does the shooter have to be within the range of the game logic?
Nope, only the targets. Although I've never tested having the shooter a long way back. Test it and let me know.
