I used to babysit for a Nigerian family. The mother would leave a bag of these for me whenever I came over. They are THE BEST! I haven’t eaten them in over 16 years. Can’t wait to try this recipe!
I just tried this and I have almost finished it while it’s still hot. I prefer frying but I will try the air fryer style when I make this again - probably some fried and some air fried. Your recipe is so straightforward- perfect for lazy beings like me. Your puff puff recipe has made its way into my recipe book and the chin chin recipe will take it’s place too. Thank you for sharing.
I followed this recipe to the gram (w my food scale of course!) and it came out SO GOOD. Needs to be in recipe hall of fame. I knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Thank you for sharing this gem
Watched a lot of videos on how to make chin chin, I tried it for the very first time and it came out soft like buns 😭😭, then I came across your video and tried for the second time..it came out crunchy and sweet, wow thanks for the video, it’s very educating 😍
I love the simplicity of your cooking. No fuss. I love your worktop and always looking forward to seeing the matching mixing bowl. Try to protect your worktop with a silicone sheet. Lovely job 👍
Hello 👋 I been looking all over for a savory Chin chin for years I was about in my twenties I can’t remember and I don’t have the recipe i was taught to make with water oil flour as well as graded garlic and onion if you have a recipe please share it thank you ☺️
Hi, kiki foodie. I'm a first timer. I love your recipe but I notice there was no baking powder, was it omitted or that's how the recipe is. Thanks and I'm really sorry if what I said offended you
Kiki said it's chinchin everywhere but with this recipe, I would say "perfect chinchin everywhere" I love the way this turned out. No headache, crunchy yet not hard. Thanks for sharing your magic. Happy holidays ❤❤💃
I noticed you didn't add baking powder and you didn't cover the Dough for some minutes before cutting. Am I correct? Pls reply to my comment, because I want to know what I am not doing write that is making my chinchin suck oil and not fry firmly. Thank you. Beautiful work
I love my chin chin very crunchy. Does including the eggs make it less crunchy? Also it’s a bit hard to get powdered milk where I reside, can it be excluded? 😩
Wow, and I just thought of making chinchin and I saw your update on Instagram. Thanks for your ever inspiring recipes👏. I would like to ask, which chinchin's texture / outcome do you prefer, the ones fried in hot oil or the ones made with air fryer?
@@Kikifoodies thanks for your response. Never knew we could have a healthier way to make chinchin. I will definitely make this with my ninja airfryer today.

For four cups of flour, how many eggs and what quantity of sugar should one add?
Love your channel❤️❤️
Thanks Kiki you're a gem
You're so welcome!
Whoever disliked this video, get problems 🙄 PERFECT Chinchin 👌👌👌
As in eee
What's the measurement of water added please
Yum 😋!! Are you using self rising flour?
Plain flour is better- it gives you an amazing outcome. Crunchy yet soft- just the way nature prescribed it 😉
Can one use soft flour if you don't have all purpose flour?
I love the airfryer shortcut. I have one so I will try this. What does the egg do? I haven't seen other recipes use egg...
Thanks for this recipe. I see you used water and milk is also an option. What would the outcome be like if I used milk. Will it still be crunchy ?
Thanks for sharing ma.i couldn’t see the recipe

Please can you help with measurement of the recipe
What's the name of that stuff you used to cut the chin chin dough into your desired shape?
Hello Kiki. How can I multiply the measurements to make up to even 10 liters of chin chin??
How did u make it thick
Kiki said it's chinchin everywhere but with this recipe, I would say "perfect chinchin everywhere" I love the way this turned out. No headache, crunchy yet not hard. Thanks for sharing your magic. Happy holidays ❤❤💃
So Glad you liked it 😊
@rozzydelights brought me here from her rave Instagram reviews of this chin chin and now I see her comments her as well 😂
I noticed you didn't add baking powder and you didn't cover the Dough for some minutes before cutting. Am I correct? Pls reply to my comment, because I want to know what I am not doing write that is making my chinchin suck oil and not fry firmly. Thank you. Beautiful work
What air fryer do you use?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ma I noticed u didn't put baking powder
Is it optional in making chinchim
I noticed baking powder is not there is it optional in this recipe
Yes it’s optional. I don’t like it in my Chinchin
Why no baking powder?
Chinchin does not need baking powder?? I did nottt know thatt
Hi, can I Airfry my Chin Chin?
Hello I'm in tzd haw.much can buy this machine of cutting
I love my chin chin very crunchy. Does including the eggs make it less crunchy?
Also it’s a bit hard to get powdered milk where I reside, can it be excluded? 😩
Hey. I showed the substitute for powders milk in the description box. If you want it very very crunchy, you can reduce the water by 1 tablespoon.
@@Kikifoodies thank you 😊
Wow, and I just thought of making chinchin and I saw your update on Instagram. Thanks for your ever inspiring recipes👏. I would like to ask, which chinchin's texture / outcome do you prefer, the ones fried in hot oil or the ones made with air fryer?
Yay. I actually preferred the airfryer one better. Crunchier, just the way I like it.
@@Kikifoodies thanks for your response. Never knew we could have a healthier way to make chinchin. I will definitely make this with my ninja airfryer today.
THANK YOU
My dough is always stretchy. What am I doing wrong
You’re mixing the dough too much
What is the best topping for this chinchin? Chocolate?
Eat like that no topping needed

Does omitting the egg make it strong
