Thanks for this treat, Randy. 'All Night Long Blues' is also known as 'Richmond Blues'. It was recorded in 1927 by Dick Burnett and Leonard Rutherford. As you can hear, it's similar in structure to quite a few other short tunes, such as 'The Girls Go Crazy'.
It's a "recording tuba" designed to throw the sound forward to the primitive equipment that was used in the early days of recording. They're not made any more as modern electronics can handle the sound from a modern tuba much better.

Thanks. I was not used to a tuba built to throw the sound forward. I could that is what it is intended to do. I just had not seen any.
