Co-branded credit cards truly become helpful when you actually use them...frequently. You will want to choose a brand or company that you are a loyal customer to. If you constantly fly United or stay at Hilton hotels, then you probably will want a United and Hilton co-branded credit card. However, if you are always switching up companies or it doesn't matter to you, it may be best to hold off on getting a co-branded credit card right now.
Co-branded credit cards will not only help you earn tons of loyalty points with that brand, but you can also earn extra benefits as well. Some of those benefits include, free checked bags, TSA Precheck / Global Entry Credit, or even a free nights stay at a hotel. These benefits aren't always available on other "traditional" reward or travel credit cards.
At the end of the day, crunch out the numbers and see if a co-branded credit card will be valuable to you.

Co branded cards are good to have depending on the brand and the value you get out of using it. I guess the only two I have is the Schwab Plat and the Apple credit card. I'm thinking of adding a Amex Delta Skymiles since I fly them mostly..always good seeing your vid Chase 👊🏽💥

Yeah there is definitely a lot of value with co-branded credit cards such as the Amazon Card, or Hilton Honors AMEX Cards. Great video Chase!

Great video, Chase. Thank. you. I got the Apple Card recently because I needed a new laptop and Apple had a special 5% cash back on Apple purchases. So, I got the laptop. Got the cash back. Paid the bill. And now the card will pretty much only be used for my monthly subscriptions through Apple. Down the road, I will consider one of the Southwest cards or maybe one of the Amazon cards, though I am trying to spend less with Amazon even though they have me sucked in with my Prime membership and the great stuff they are putting out on Prime Video!
I love my Apple Card for Apple purchases as well 🌟 It helped me when I bought my new phone and laptop. Lmao 😅 sometimes there just isn't a way to get rid of Amazon. Thank you for watching Chris! 🤙🏼

You like the AAA Visa signature? Haven't seen anybody else who has this card. I'm thinking about getting a repair shop voucher and cancelling the card before the points expiration schedule hits.

Also want to mention about alliance partners! Delta is in Skyteam which also contains Virgin Atlantic and KLM iirc. You can book Skyteam alliance flights using Delta miles.

For me, the Sam's club Mastercard makes a lot of sense, I shop for some things there anyway and buy most of my gas there. I haven't seen another card that does cashback at warehouse clubs or for members -only gas stations, the SC MC gives me 5% on gas anywhere.

Just got my 1st co-branded card. Southwest Priority. Working on the companion pass. Plan on getting the Amex Delta Plat next.

I have the Chase Amazon, Hilton Surpass Amex and Sam's Club Master card. Airline cards are kind of trash after the sign up bonus. The multipliers aren't really good

I have several cobranded cards. Amex Hilton Honors Surpass, Amex Marriott(OG), Amex Delta, Citi AA WE MC, and Chase WOH. Lol I think that's it. I do however think it's more beneficial to use transferable points currency cards.

@@ChaseYokoyama yeah, well I downgraded the Delta Gold to the Delta Blue last year and I'm thinking about product changing the Citi AA card to a No AF card like the Citi rewards plus that earns TY points.
I have 11 credit cards, one of them is co-branded, Cap1 Walmart card, I shop at Walmart once a week plus I order from Walmart online, u get 2% cashback in store & 5% online, it works for me because I use the card frequently, if u use the card often then the store card is worth it

Just having a co branded credit card the brand get activation bonus, percentage of the intrest of the consumer spent, and annual fees. They make money regardless 💯

Question - I have the AE Platinum card. It’s worth it to me because I travel a lot and love the lounge access and other benefits. I’m big on airport lounges. Looking to get one more credit card with free lounge access. I’m over the 5/24 with Chase. You recommend the Citi/AAdvantage Executive World Elite MasterCard for the Admirals club or Delta Skymiles Reserve for the Delta SkyClub access? I’m all about the lounges and rewards/mile points.
You already have delta sky club access with the Platinum. You just need to be flying delta (same requirement with the Delta Reserve so no difference). AA world elite will bring admirals club if you value it and I think AA points are generally more valuable so seems like the better option
I would lean toward the Executive World Elite Mastercard. Just as Pardhu mentioned, the Amex Platinum card already provides Delta SkyClub access as long as you are traveling via a Delta flight. It would make the most sense to get that Admirals Club access. Also, the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard® is the only credit card that offers membership to the Admirals Club just for carrying the card. ✈ Thank you for watching and I hope you keep enjoying all that lounge access! 😱🔥

Thanks for the info. Would the Citi Premier be a better card or the Executive World Elite MasterCard? I know CP didn’t give lounge access. Just trying to see what’s the better fit. I do hear CP has more bonus perks.

Credit cards are scams
Not if you use them correctly.
With the right education, discipline, and planning I believe credit cards are the superior form of payment (for now). Yes, if used incorrectly, credit cards do way more harm than good. But if you learn how to use them while being financially responsible, credit cards can open a lot of doors for you and bring tons of value 🙏🏼
