Usefull prepaid meter codesThis video is to help a lot of energy consumers who are having a hard time with their prepaid meters to resolve their issues by checking and fixing the most likely cause of the issue(s).
Here we are using the Mojec brand of the energy prepaid meter which mostly communicates using the Power Line Communication (PLC) mechanism. If your prepaid meter fails to pair up with the indoor unit referred to as either the CIU or the UIU.
The most likely reason is usually due to the fact that your CIU cannot successfully communicate with the outdoor prepaid meter due to some data communication problem. The easiest way to fix this is by replacing the cable with a good one.
Also, there are many helpfull codes which were discussed in the video.

Hello @lanreolukoga. When there is no power there won't be any communication between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit (CIU or UIU). You have to wait till there is power supply from your disco to your prepaid meter first, then you can insert batteries into your CIU, plugged to the wall socket and then recharge by entering your token and it will successfully load.

If your credit finished and there is still power supply, all you need to do is insert batteries into your CIU or UIU which your indoor unit, plug it to a direct wall socket and then enter your recharge token and it will be successful.

Good morning. I have recharged previously. I have linked Nin. Last time I did it for the first time I used my neighbors outlet to recharge and it worked. Now light has finished and I’m trying to recharge it keeps saying failed. I have also tried to plug it directly to light it still doesn’t work keeps saying failed

PlsI beleive the battery compartment of my CIU is bad as it doesnt power on until I conne to to a socket. The problem now is that my units ran out and I have been unable to load token. It tells me failed and no lights are flashing. It is a mojec CIU-PH04
Hi Mary, the issue description looks most likely like hardware failure.
For this, kindly check with your disco if they have replacement ready or replacement process in place.
Please, what's the code to reset the E.51.0, the CIU-PH04 takes a very long time before it communicates with the meter outside to show the green light.?

Hello. Usually outstanding comes from your old analog meter which usually sits on the disco company 's billing platform. You may be able to get it from the point of buying your energy token if the vending platform is provided with that information which may or may not be printed on the print out.
Sometimes, it is printed out showing your minimum payable. The best way is to get it from the source which is you disco energy provider.
Anytime i tried recharging my newly installed prepaid meter. It's always telling me user not found or error in reference number. Since the awof it came with finish i am unable to recharge.

Hello eghosaefe8554, usually any outstanding on a prepaid meter would most likely be from the previous postpaid meter in use. This outstanding usually ties to your meter account number which can be checked by opening the disco company's app or calling their customer care number.
That is why such outstandings are taken from the point of purchase of the token and not at the point of loading token into your prepaid meter

I'm using mojec prepaid meter but since last week I've been trying to input my token but it keeps showing failed and any other code I input on it

Hi Usually, you will have to contact the entity that debited you to inform them of the transaction and they should resolve it between them and the service provider.

Hello Balogun, anything that has to do with hardware replacement on your meter should only be directed to the meter provider. You may find out from the nearest disco office in charge of your area.

Hello user-gr, failed to load may be due to your CIU or UIU not pairing up with the meter. Please check if your UIU is paired up successfully.
To know if It has paired up you will have to check if the green indicator is on.
