Man you know how to make that chicfilet dissappear! Had to chuckle to myself on your take off, with the camera on John? in the left seat as he's calling for heading at 2:45, beard, sunglasses and serious look on his face (as it should be i imagine on take off) the old Steppenwolf song Magic Carpet ride came to my mind and he was perfect! That would be a fun theme song.....for if anyone does fly a magic carpet it is you guys! Maybe you have to be an oldster like myself to appreciate it though..
Fun vids. These also help me sleep believe it or not. Turn on the tube, open you tube on my cell load up a play list with your vids and back to sawing logs in no time. Idk....just the calming nature of your travels helps me sleep again! Thanks..
Great videos gents. Glad to watch your videos knowing that the Tay611-8C Rolls-Royce engines are keeping you up in the air servicing a fine aircraft. Rolls-Royce Deutschland & Co KG Operational Service Desk, have you covered 24/7 for you engines. RR RCM's are just a call away and the Reps. in Savannah are at your service anytime 24/7.
In short, they tell the various systems whether the plane is on the ground or in the air. I have a short video showing them here: ua-cam.com/video/KvIBmSmh9OA/v-deo.html
Cute! A Recaro kid seat! Shaun, you looked so tired at the end! Sympathies from a former railroader (Motto: "Eat when you're not hungry, sleep when you're not tired") When you call out "six lights," do those indicate 4 boards and 2 reversers?.
Good blog you guys really good I know this is going to sound kind of weird I got to go shave my left armpit then that sound weird and have some coffee at the market
GREAT series. Noticed the G IV autopilot has a very jerky roll axis on the control yoke. Looks like the roll servo has too much gain. Is this normal for this aircraft? Lot's of oscillation (rapid movement) in the roll control when coupled to the A/P?
It is a bit jerky, but it looks worse in turbulence. It's hard to tell when we are in turbulence from the cameras being so stable. In smooth air they are much better.
Just noticed GUANO waypoint on the route to Teterboro! Seriously, they couldn't come up with another name?? Lol. Why not CRAP or SHTTY or MANUR? Some are really funny, but that one takes the cake.
Great video and such a smooth landing at Teterboro, but what a quick turnaround you guys do! Don't forget to hit 'thumbs up' people, almost 3k views, and just 174 'likes' so people are forgetting to! And my how this channel is exploding! was just 3k subscribers and now 7.4k as I write this!
At the start you said you took on 1500 gallons, what is the conversion from gallons to LBS? Also when you land the computer spits out a number, what is that? Remaining fuel? If fuel why is it more when you returned then when you landed in Teterboro? You took on more fuel? Was 3000 in Tet and 4000 at the end.
The conversion is 6.7 LBS per gallon. The 3000 remaining you hear is the distance in feet to the end of the runway. It's just making sure we get slowed down before running off the end...
Real simple: drop the last zero ( 0) off the lbs, divide that by 2 and add the result back. 1500 lbs of fuel is calculated as follows : , 150/2=75; 150 + 75= 225 gallons
Corporate Pilot Life that’s what I thought but for some reason I second guessed myself cuz in a couple videos it sounded like you were saying something different for some reason so I wasn’t sure. Thanks for the great videos dude. New to the channel and loving what I am seeing.
Nice video, if a vip customer wanted to go to london from florida, but would rather land there in the afternoon ( 12 pm+) what time would you leave fla. Thanks.
You both have 4 stripes. John is always in the left seat, Sean in the right. You both make consistently beautiful landings (do you not record the bad ones, or are you really that good?) Does this mean that John makes more than Sean? or does he just have more hours?
We're both fully qualified captains on the G-IV. Jon does have seniority, however...and yes...we are that good. LOL I did make a carrier landing a week ago that I'll put up in the near future.
LOL - the Google Maps satellite image shows aircraft stacked on top of each other there at TEB. BTW - stumbled on your channel today and really enjoying it. And, hit the subscribe button. Keep up the good stuff!
Just an idea popped into my head. In the future, maybe it's possible to have some kind of an e-raffle draw or contest where the winner gets to fly in one of your empty flights? Just an idea.
We used just under 8000 pounds of fuel to get up there...slightly more getting back due to headwinds. The fuel in TEB is running about $3.70 a gallon right now.
That is one of the few questions I cant answer...sorry. These people pay a lot of money for anonymity. This whole thing would come crashing down pretty quick if I went down that road.
Does your company have any concern about you posting videos of your flights? While I enjoy them, I envision some liability issues, in the event you have an incident or God forbid, an accident. I’m wearing my previous aviation underwriters hat...
Those winter days are short but beautiful
You guys never skip a beat, never caught off guard, always ahead of the aircraft Always excellent video. I am working my way through all of them.

Love flying with you guys. Never take more than 10 or 15 minutes to fly anywhere! Sincerely, interesting and well done.

Absotively a perfect landing, John! Both of you are living the dream!
Never knew you guys vlogged! A view we FBO peeps don’t see. Excellent job guys. I still don’t know how you guys do it. Love from Atlantic KTEB ♥️
Sean, thank you for the “Nutcracker” explanation!
“NUTCRKR” switch! Crystal!
Great description of the NUTCRKR switch. I know I don't fly the G's but it was still something to learn.
Great videos gents. Glad to watch your videos knowing that the Tay611-8C Rolls-Royce engines are keeping you up in the air servicing a fine aircraft. Great flight and excellent pilot skills thanks for bringing us along. Cheers
You know I watch all the videos my friend! 00 on the TCAS! Friends that fly together stay together. Thanks for the shout out.
Always man!
Your crew is always great and professional! Thanks for sharing these awesome videos!
I been really enjoying watch y'all so much. Thank You for your post.
Non-pilot, I still don't get the knutcracker switch, but love your videos and John is funny.
In short, they tell the various systems whether the plane is on the ground or in the air. I have a short video showing them here:

1080p60 HD is superb. What a difference 60fps makes. Great videos.
Thank you! Great to hear you appreciate that...I like it much better as well
Love Your Video... Thanks For Taking Us With You......
Excellent! New video should be up in a few days...
roger roger. GREAT Star Wars ref.
Got it beautiful plane, thanks and safe flying
Nutcracker or "Squat" switch for non GS speakers. I remember that GV accident and subsequent investigation pretty well...
Cute! A Recaro kid seat!
Shaun, you looked so tired at the end! Sympathies from a former railroader (Motto: "Eat when you're not hungry, sleep when you're not tired")
When you call out "six lights," do those indicate 4 boards and 2 reversers?.
HAHA! You noticed that seat, huh? My son loves it. The six lights are all for the reversers...3 lights per engine. The "boards up" is the spoilers.
Another enjoyable flight.
Have you noticed how the sun has changed? Sometimes it’s huge, other times it looks “normal” size
Good blog you guys really good I know this is going to sound kind of weird I got to go shave my left armpit then that sound weird and have some coffee at the market
American 525 voice!
Tim Lion haha, hilarious.
I see him as a small town sheriff in Louisiana.
Looked like Francine was taking some Instagram shots on approach, where can we check those out?
Great video like always Happy New year
Nice. I was at the Banyan Pilot Store at FXE in November...
That is one nice pilot store...that's where I get most of my supplies.
Nice. I'm in Fort lauderdale (from LA) every 3 months...
awesome as usual
Glad to hear it!

Thank you for your timely response . Cheers
Great videos, can you explain the CAS system some time.
Sure! I'll add that to the list...
Just noticed GUANO waypoint on the route to Teterboro! Seriously, they couldn't come up with another name?? Lol. Why not CRAP or SHTTY or MANUR? Some are really funny, but that one takes the cake.
So with two PIC's, do you alternate who logs PIC time, cus ya proly can't log 'em simultaneously... Curious, love your vids, the BEST! Thank You!
Yup, we alternate.
Zero thumbs down!!! Beauty!!!
Great vlog as always. Love your CRM. Did you get some delays? Sunrise in FLL, and sunset in NYC.
yeah...we sat in Teterboro for a while
I pass that weigh station every day 🤦🏼♂️
IF you ever need some weight in the jumpseat for W&B lmk :)
Great video and such a smooth landing at Teterboro, but what a quick turnaround you guys do!

6:46 is that premier 1 driver they are talking to? I heard MG
We did talk to Premier 1 Driver on the radio a while back, but this isn't him. He's N390GM.
I enjoy your videos, I want the headphones thanx
Hey guy's. Is it possible when you edit your video to circle other aircraft in the distance so viewer can see what you are seeing?
I can try to do that...Thanks! I know it's hard to see things from the camera sometimes...it's much easier in person.
At the start you said you took on 1500 gallons, what is the conversion from gallons to LBS? Also when you land the computer spits out a number, what is that? Remaining fuel? So I noticed the auto pilot is a little twitchy but at what point do you turn AP off and take over? 20 feet? 100 feet?
I like to turn it off and hand fly below 1000 feet or so, but it all depends on the situation.
Isn't that crazy sounding now kind of like I need to be on pills huh and LA
Now can you explain what you are saying about sinking or something like that just before landing?
yep...we are referring to the sink rate in feet per minute. Anything more than about 1000 feet per minute is probably a bit too steep.
Corporate Pilot Life that’s what I thought but for some reason I second guessed myself cuz in a couple videos it sounded like you were saying something different for some reason so I wasn’t sure. Thanks for the great videos dude. New to the channel and loving what I am seeing.
Very interesting videos you post sir. May I ask if you guys use a broker for handling? If yes, are you able to tell us which one?
We pretty much take care of our own handling.. Sometime on complicated overseas trips, we will use a third party, but it's never the same one.
Corporate Pilot Life thanks for you reply! Regards from the Azores
Nice video, if a vip customer wanted to go to london from florida, but would rather land there in the afternoon ( 12 pm+) what time would you leave fla. Thanks.
If we left Florida at midnight, we would arrive in London around 12:30 P.M. the next day.
You both have 4 stripes. John is always in the left seat, Sean in the right. You both make consistently beautiful landings (do you not record the bad ones, or are you really that good?) Does this mean that John makes more than Sean? or does he just have more hours?

I have really enjoyed watching your trips! Do you guys work for someone or do you own the aircraft?
We work for the owner of the plane.
When it comes to ramp traffic, is there anyone busier than TEB?
Brian McGee yea, ATL, ORD, BOS....
They don't call TEB the center of the universe for nothing...as far as corporate aviation ramps go, it's the busiest airport I know of.
Brian McGee LAX?
LOL - the Google Maps satellite image shows aircraft stacked on top of each other there at TEB. BTW - stumbled on your channel today and really enjoying it. And, hit the subscribe button. Keep up the good stuff!
Is the company you work charter their jets?
They have several chartered jets
Just an idea popped into my head. In the future, maybe it's possible to have some kind of an e-raffle draw or contest where the winner gets to fly in one of your empty flights? Just an idea.
Where does the call sign come from? Do you ever end up being Airforce1?
It's just the company name...and I wish!
Corporate Pilot Life I notice you have had a few empty legs. Have you thought of listing them on a platform such as Flyotto.com?
How many pounds of ice cold Jet-A did you use going up to TEB ?? Out of curiosity what's the current price up there for Jet fuel in NY ??
We used just under 8000 pounds of fuel to get up there...slightly more getting back due to headwinds. The fuel in TEB is running about $3.70 a gallon right now.
Corporate Pilot Life 1200 gallons X 3.70 is still a lot of dough.....over $4 K just in fuel.....
Another great video guys you make it all look so easy, do you come from an airforce background or are you both civillian aviation trained?
Both civilian. I'm working on a video showing our backgrounds, and how we got to where we are now...
Thank you for your reply and i look forward to that video,Keep it up guys
why can’t ever see what you guys are flying ? Regulations?
Not sure what you mean...what would you like to see?
My hat's off to all flight attendants. You really have to like all sorts of people - which I don't.
ATC @ 4:03 lol
Do you fly the same aircraft every time? Another great video. How do have anytime to fish, when you are working non-stop. Happy New year!
Yeah...we fly the same aircraft. We were just talking about doing some fishing soon!
love your videos. who were the water boarders you flew out?
That is one of the few questions I cant answer...sorry. These people pay a lot of money for anonymity. This whole thing would come crashing down pretty quick if I went down that road.
Would we recognize any names?
'merican fave-tu-fave
Are you 7 days on , 7 days off ?
Nope. We're 7 on, then 7 on, then another 7 on, then maybe 1 off, then 7 on again...you get the idea.
I'd love that sched for a few hundred months.
