@damienodonohue1327 has a super charger and turbo charger one on top of the other. I have a few of them. Not sure the difference between a blower and super charger. It's I'm guessing 6/71? Looks like a gm blower with a case and rotors inside. I appreciate it. Such a neat sound.
That being a cab forward you have to be careful that the rear of the truck does not run short and drop off in the ditch It requires a wide swing. Drove a few of those in my days on a fire department.
@@jameslashley3970 Actually there is two Cab forward and cab over. This one is a cab forward where more of the cab is forward of the front wheels. Ford C-8000 cabs were an example of a cab over design. Most of the custom chassis that modern fire apparatus are built on are of a cab forward design.
This engine sound is very reminiscent of getting on a city bus.
I drove a cabover GMC air, light and rescue unit with that engine and you could hear it coming a 1/2 mile away!
Love the sound!
Seagrave who made that truck is still in business in Clintonville Wisconsin about an hour outside of Green Bay.
Very 😎
@@donniedye2716 I know folks there. I might share this with them.
Good video mate, its a blower, not a supercharger, supplies air barely above atmosphere 👍

It's called cab over (COE).

@@leskeegan9033 I was about to say it's not a cab over.
4:06 that faded red button right there on the steering column that says "hazard", is that the hazard button he was looking for?
I did find it but when I hit the flashers the guages went crazy with every flash lol bad ground somewhere. Decided to leave them off.
@@donniedye2716 That button also doubles as gauge test feature then...lol.
