I followed both of you independently without realizing you two were together. When i stumbled upon this collab it made me so happy! You two make a great kitchen couple..
i lurk in your channel, and only recently subbed to your channel!!! as a filipino, i saw chicken adobo, and had to see it!! THANK YOU FOR WASHING THE RICE!!!
I love these long-form videos. You guys are great! Imitation Game is a reaaallly good movie if you haven’t watched it already. It’s 1.30am here in UK and now I’m hungry 😅
Update I made this and it’s so good!!! I didn’t make any changes (except moving the chicken to plate to remove the skin lol) I used silver swan soy and the same brand of vinegar and oyster sauce. I love that they didn’t use any water or added sugar. The fried garlic and crispy chicken skin made it next level.
@@surfnyolly you can get oyster sauce in the asian aisle of most large grocery stores and you can fry the garlic in any oil of choice because it’s at a low heat.
I really enjoyed the two of you working together to make this meal and enjoying each others company. It looks delicious and I’m happy you get to eat it together!
Haley & Chuck I saw a movie this past Saturday night late late show on TV. Title is "A Violent Seperation."It was a true surprise the kind of movie that is thought provoking and stays with you.
Y’all are the cutest, and you’re good at what you do. Thanks for sharing! The chicken skin thing is brilliant. Also why don’t I put my seared chicken on the lid?! One less thing to clean 😂
Movie recommendations... Get a dvd player and tv at thrift store for pennies... Then start collecting older movies...Out of print. By collecting dvd or vhs you have a hard copy. I have about 2K dvds. Some of my favorites usually are based on who is in the movie and who made the movie...You will usually find that if you like one writer director you will like other movies made by... For the 2 of you: Moonstruck...a classic funny movie...
Have you ever made Turkish rice? In a pan you add plenty of sunflower oil and lots of butter. You add a handfull of orzo pasta. You bake it until its light golden. You add your washed short grain Turkish Rice. Mix it and add a tiny splash of lemon. Add boiling water ontop until the tip of your finger. You add enough salt. The water should taste salty. Lit on. Then you put it on simmer for 12 minutes or so. Never open the lit before. Serve it with chicken out of the oven. And some Turkish coban or mevsim salad.
Some of my favorite. Movies are Gone with the Wind, League Extraordinary Gentlemen, all the John Wick movies, Now Voyager, Snatch. A little bit of everything for you.
also i cook filipino chicken adobo in a bit more of a healthier way, where i use white vinegar; and i don't sear the chicken. i instead cook it in the dry method boiling it. salamat to your cooking being very well done, aside from the oyster sauce.
As a kid I hated that surprise of biting into a whole peppercorn. I’ll try your adobo. My fam makes it quite soupy for the rice. Haven’t mastered it yet. I also like Erwan Yusef’s drier version.
thank youuuu for these videos!!! and i mean this in the best way possible but please do not improve the production value for these videos ;_; it reminds me of kenji alt lopez's like follow along as he chops and does things and feels personable. also i love your recipes, they kick my regular home cooking up like 10 notches!!
aside from the oyster sauce, that is very authentic; and looks good!! are you a AMWF filipino asian couple? you are so cute!! thank you for making it!! its so good!!
I hope you guys continue to make these, very enjoyable to watch. It shows that a great meal can be made at home and it doesn't have to take hours.
I've said it before, but I love when you guys cook together. ❤
Killers of the Flower Moon is excellent. A tear-jerker and a long run time, but well worth viewing! Love these long form videos, by the way.

I love these long-form videos. You guys are great! Imitation Game is a reaaallly good movie if you haven’t watched it already. It’s 1.30am here in UK and now I’m hungry 😅

So glad you made this! Question, where do I get oyster sauce, and what did you fry the garlic in?

Hi Hailee this looks so good. What temperature did you bake the chicken skin?
id assume 200F-350F as they are small morsels, and aren't the full chicken; but also it was already partially cooked!! so it shouldn't much time!
You guys are just too adorable ❤
