I did that in '83, on a motorcycle with my wife on the back.. Even with her on my back and my chin on the handlebars, the front wheel was mighty light.. Lady at the gate told us, 'you got a great day. Sunny, 38 degrees and 65 mph winds gusting to 75'... White knuckle goin' up - piece of cake goin' down.. Left it in 2nd gear and just eased down the hill. I highly recommend that run. 90+ miles view in every direction.. Up until a few years ago, that place had the highest recorded straight wind speed of (IIRC) 232 mph... Glad you made that trip..
I have logged over 180000 miles traveling by motorcycle. Haven't been able to ride for three years due to a leg injury. It was great to ride along with your videos.
Wow. This is definitely the best reason for owning an RV. Your surroundings change often and you get to see an amazing country in its most natural state. Loved the video. Keep well. Stay safe
Welcome to NH my home state. I'm a lifelong motorcyclist and skier ( 71 years old). Been up Mt Washington on 4 wheels, the Cog, 2 wheels but mostly climbing and skiing in the Winter. That Mountain is always an adventure and I really enjoyed your experience there. Bon Voyage! Stay safe.
Love my home state. Until last year, we sold our summer home in Wolfeboro, but gained a new RV. Have stayed at Turtle Kraal before and will again in a few weeks. You stay at a lot of our same campgrounds, Treton Timberlane Acres as well.
Just found you folks....Thanks for the video..I raced sled dogs on that lake for many years. But never had the chance to see it in the summer. Happy Trails!!!
These are the roads we travel on our bike all summer long! We live in NH travel New England regularly. Go to at least one day of bike week each year, but my favorite to ride in is VT... So pretty!
Thanks guys that was fun, just what the doctor ordered. I grew up in NH and vacationed regularly on Lake Winnipesaukee, so it was great to ride around the lake with you and see the familiar sights I miss so much.
We just watched this video from a condo in Weirs Beach, NH after spending a week here visiting with Ron & CindyLou. This is where we are from. Now we'll be heading back to where we left our RV in Oklahoma at a park near where our kids built a house after just coming back from a 3 year stint in Hawaii (Army). Nice job chronicling your journey through our White Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee. Sorry we missed you. Sharon & Dick
Thanks for sharing, Lori and I did the Laconia bike week in 2018 and we traveled a number of the same roads as you. Can't wait to go back and do it, cheers
New Hampshire has been a safe place due to COVID . I have a place in Moultonborough, did that loop you did many times . Love it up there . Enjoy your videos , maybe even a bit jealous of the life style . Thanks again
Beautiful trip. We have an 2016 Indian Roadmaster and it is the most amazing motorcycle I have ever ridden. I feel like a Queen on the back with my throne and armrests. We live in northern Rhode Island and traveled to Virginia this year and camped off the bike. It was amazing! I have the same vest as Cindy. You did a great job! Really nice representation of New Hampshire.
Thank you for the Great ride on the bike. It help me forget a few moments about my up coming open heart surgery in about 3 days. I enjoy all your videos. Thanks again and always we enjoy seeing Daisy.. Hope to see your next video next week.
Great video ! In 1971 I biked the auto road, your ride brings back good memories. It was in August 75 degrees at the bottom and 32 at the top. We had to wait for the snow to plow past, it did not stick but you could not see ten feet in front of you. 15 min. later sunny and 40 degrees.
Lived in Litchfield NH for 25 years. Have been on all of those roads and places you guys went to. Beautiful State....Live Free or Die State. Live in AZ now. Had to get away from the NH snow and cold weather.
I just started my full time journey with my girlfriend the two dogs and two motorcycles. Starting here in New Hampshire off to Florida at the end of the month!
Love your bikes, I just bought a 2018 chieftain and absolutely love it!!! Also live in NH glad you enjoyed your visit. We except everyone but mass people 😄
Tim 👍😄 good comment. I just cast my absentee ballot ( Vermin Supreme😄👍) and I'm heading south this weekend to Ocala ( southern people are incredibly welcoming) well wishes Tim & have a good winter👋 pleasure chatting with you.👍
Thanks for taking us with you guys even though you taped this last summer..... I love these videos with you. Someday..... I especially love the outtakes at the end. Makes me smile. Hugs from Minnesota
Thanks to you, I got to relive a piece of our epic New England vacation! We took the cog railroad up to Mt Washington when we went. Thanks for sharing all the beautiful footage of your trip!!
My wife and I have a summer home in Bridgton Maine and we fly our plane into Fryeburg Maine Airport during the summer months. I do ride motorcycles as well and passed you in Meredith. Wasn’t sure it was you at the time but now I’m sure after seeing this video. Love your videos, and thanks for all the effort you put in them.
Thanks for sharing, i lived in Meredith for a few years back in the late 80's loved the area, got the opportunity to go back a few years ago, was amazed at how much it had changed. Love the area.
My first time up Mt Wash was on the back of my father's 74 Honda CB 750!! Been up several times since. So glad you made it to my home state. NH is beautiful all times of year but summer is my favorite season.
Great views and nice video! Enjoy life and thanks for sharing your adventures! Love your videos and information! Stay safe and healthy! Life is short! Enjoy 😊
My wife and I live here. Glad you had the opportunity to enjoy the North Country. The Cog Rail is a great experience to the top. If you find your way back to us, take a ride around the White Mountain National forest in a big loop. Crawford Notch on the west and Pinkham Notch on the east. Some of the most beautiful riding imaginable.
Wow, after watching your video, I think I was at that spot when I was like 16, 17 years old. I remember that cog train. I am 65 now, little blurry but Thank you , for the past. Great video!
Awesome video... are you coming back to Vermont? I rode my motorcycle up Mt Washington... definitely a bucket list ride for any motorcyclist ( who is not faint of heart...haha). I am planning a ride up to the top with my SxS soon. The trees are about to explode with color soon here in New England. Enjoy 👍
Yah!! NH here my home state and still here. Bike weekend is busy here. Good weather until the last day it rained. Getting ready to Head back out west myself. Glad you enjoyed it here.
Ahh New Hampstah! Wonderful trip! You were a stones throw from Squam Lake, where the movie was filmed years ago! Can't wait until the next exciting episode! Great Video!
Can't remember if I mentioned already or not, but a guided tour in one of the vans is a great way to learn a little about how it was a big tourist attraction by horse and wagon in the early days. How the mountain makes its own weather, and more. I have now gone up three times, each was a different experience. The second time, we stood and watched clouds form and billow up BELOW us!. The last time, the top cleared off about 30 minutes before we started up, then just before it was time to go back, got fogged in, rain and hail.
Nice video! Brings back memories for me from my Navy days when I lived in Nashua, NH., and worked on Fort Devens Army Base near Fitchburg, MA. I rode my Harley Sportster all over that state!
What an awesome video!! Have never been to New Hampshire ,Vermont or the North Eastern states, so this was so cool to see! Mt. Washington is definitely on my list for motorcycle trips! Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Guys, We’ve lived in NH all our lives. We have been following you for over a year now and love your videos. Loved this NH video!!! We lived about 10 miles from Alton Bay. I’ve hiked up Mt. Washington many times. We’ve driven the Auto Road a few times, and taken the COG railway up the mountain once. We sold our home of 40+ years in June 2020 and our first stop was Turtle Kraal campground in Alton. We left for our fulltime adventure on June 24, 2020. I'm going to try florida Again😄 NH born but Texan at heart. NH is too left for my liking, it's now mass north or VT east that's how I view the state now. Where R U going in florida? All my adult family are on the east from Palm down to Sebastian. I am trying Ocala. Maybe see you on the road if you in that area. Biketoberfest is just around the corner & my father & I will be riding .
Just spent 10 mins or so looking for the songs starting at time frame 12:34, great choice. Found them on YT, the "Steelings - Where You Go". Many Thanks. Keep up the great videos.
I was stationed in New Hampshire when I was in the service way back in the day. I recently (2019) went back to visit for the first time since I left my base there. Beautiful state. Keep doing what you guys are doing. Enjoy your videos. Safe travels.
Loved the video! I'm from the Northeast (Maine) and enjoy seeing your videos of my area. You can capture the area better than I can!! I enjoy what you guys do

I just love when you go for a ride.I was a little afraid when you were going on the ride up that mountain with no guard rails watching that on TV was very scary. And I love seeing Daisy when you come home and how she just goes crazy
If you are heading to Maine, Do not forget to stop at Baxter State Park and Quoddy Head State Park Lubec, ME. It is the easternmost point in the United States before entering New Brunswick, Canada.
Hello Chad & Tara and welcome to New Hampshire! I had to comment on this as you visited my home state. As a matter of fact, you traveled through my hometown of Keene, NH. as you were coming through from New York and Vermont heading up to Lake Winnipesaukee. I ran across one of your videos a few weeks ago and I was very impressed. As a former RV owner, your type of lifestyle really interested me. So, I have subscribed to your channel and watched quite a number of your videos and enjoyed every one of them. I look forward to watching more. The both of you do an amazing job with your content. You make things very easy to understand and I really enjoy the little touches of humor that you add in which gives your content an excellent balance. I thank you for that. Keep up the great work and say hello to Daisy for me.
Great Video! Love NH! We were stationed at Pease AFB and I was involved in closing that active duty base in 1991ish. We camped in the mountains and really enjoyed our time there.
Great video. We have been coming to Lake Winnipesaukee for 50 years. We are now living in Gilford, full time. Right around the corner where you got on the boat .It was nice to see you enjoying the place we love. We have taken the auto road twice and the cog railroad once. Beautiful scenery at the summit . Keep the videos coming. Take care and be safe.
Love the music, and seeing Daisy in the pup bag was hilarious with her little head poking out and watching her daddy's back in case a rogue butterfly should try to get him...your videos just are the best...be safe, love Peggy ❤ 💕 ♥
Loved the views you had in New Hampshire, however I am disappointed that you just drove threw Vermont. There are some great places to visit in VT!! Such as The Morgan Horse Farm, Lake Champlain, The Shelburne Museum, and Ben and Jerry's Factory.
Great video! Especially for a local, just above the Thruway in The Lakes. Memory does not serve, I hope that you learned about the Naval station within I think Seneca lake. I was told that it is used for dive training. I used to walk the Buttermilk Falls during my lunch break years ago. It's amazing how much you don't know about your own home. You've inspired us to do more staycationing. Thanks again!
Hope you are enjoying maine it is a nice state. One of my daughters is out there and I do not think she will be leaving Maine. Stay safe and healthy and spoil your baby she is cute.

I just noticed that the road now is TONS nicer/wider than it was 37 years ago.. Easy-peasy now..
I have logged over 180000 miles traveling by motorcycle. Haven't been able to ride for three years due to a leg injury. It was great to ride along with your videos.
I’ve traveled everywhere and New England is still my favorite place. ❤️
