If you caught our videos from our visit to this area two years ago, you might have noticed that we stayed at Bailey's Campground. Bailey's is absolutely HUGE and jam-packed with families and kids. We prefer things a little calmer. 😊 This time around, our local friends found a nice, small, adult only campground!
Yes, please! 😀
While it is a smaller campground, they still have plenty of sites to accommodate our gigantic RV, including some marsh-front sites! We were able to snag one of those sites! Wild duck is super chill and peaceful!
While there, we made it out a few times for food and fun as well as a canoe trip and motorcycle ride!

We totally understand "Adults only" camping! Kids are great, but a break from kids is even better!

Well, I’m sufficiently hungry and thirsty now! 😀 The food at Arundel Wharf Restaurant looked amazing! And the beer...what can I say, the varieties are fun.
I LOVE whenever you both come up to Maine !!! randy is a GREAT guide, and always takes you to the GOOD food & BEST Breweries :) :) :) ... Scarborough, Portland and Old Orchard Beach are some of the BEST towns in coastal Maine ..... Definitely a bit less crowded during the COVID thing !! Hopefully you guys keep coming back to the Northeast... LOTS MORE to enjoy here !!!!
I love traveling vicariously through you guys because I will probably never get to visit most of your stops. Thanks for the video's. You always make me hungry though, because you do a lot of eating in your adventures. LOVE IT.

Here ya'll are running all over the place, having a ball and I have been in my house since February. I've been out a couple times when Jim needed a driver as he had the veins in the legs glued and couldn't drive himself home. If it weren't for him , we wouldn't eat. I have to live vicariously through you! I'm having a ball, keep it up. Smoochie dat face, Daisy.
Thank you for doing the responsible thing and staying home during a global pandemic characterized by an extremely contagious airborne pathogen. If everyone did as we are doing, we wouldn't have 250k dead and the disease raging out of control in 49 states. My family and I thank you!

We do a fall package at baileys definitely family oriented. Would never do summer there but happy to have a community for my kids to interact in. In the off seasom

I’m glade you guys liked Scarborough my home town where I grew up going to school and retiring from the Scarborough Fire Department. The On The Vine Market was actually called Dunstan Elementary School which I attended 3rd and 4th grades. There’s so many beautiful things to enjoy here I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else than Maine.

Loved the video and can't wait for the next Maine video. We are weekend warriors and stay at 1000 Trails, mostly in Lancaster area but we have been to Maine. Stayed in 1000 Trails in Wells, Me. Loved Maine and enjoyed seeing you go through places we've been.

My wife and I bought a new Ultra Glide on Laborday weekend. Our first trip with it was 2 days later from Fultonville NY to Kennybunkport. It is such a beautiful area.

This was a great video! Maine us beautiful. Glad you met up with friends you all looked like you were having fun in the canoe. Too bad it rained that one day and your bikes got wet. Glad the bike was all good though. Sad you had to leave the camp site and go to a smaller area. Glad too you decided to stay 2 more weeks. I want to see more of Maine. You all made me homesick with this video! We have a beach house in Scarborough at a little beach a few miles from the marsh called Higgins Beach. It's right near Prouts Neck where you were. Spending the summer in southern Maine each year is so incredible. It made me proud to be from Maine and so happy that you enjoyed your time there, even with all the Covid challenges this year. Driving to the Wild Duck Campground you had to drive by the house that Maine’s first Governor “ William King “ was born. He was born and is buried in Scarborough.

That store you went to with the beer and wine upstairs used to be the Dunstan schoolhouse restaurant that was a buffet, and it was awesome. We went over there every year and were sad when we found out that it closed.

I grew up exactly where they were. Def hit the audobon society. Those currents are no joke if you don't time it right or get caught in a lightening storm when you're deep in the marsh.
That whole area of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont has been on my bucket list for a while. We had a missed opportunity when we were stationed at Ft. Drum, NY. In my husband's defense(yeah yeah I'll throw him a bone), he did spend 16 months of that time deployed. I sure hope I can talk him into heading up that way soon.

Being from central Maine, we have been to L. L. Bean several times, twice when the store conducted fire drills and vacated the entire store!
Both times it was raining. We asked how often this happens and was told that it is randomly set by a computer program.

With all that is going on in the country today, it is refreshing to turn to your channel and whisk all of that away. Thank you for your commitment to your channel and the professionalism you exhibit in producing it. Have you ever done a video on your production equipment? What cameras you use, what software, etc. My objective is not to establish another channel but to do a better job of document our time on the road. We have ordered a new Ford Truck and shopping next weekend for the 5th Wheel. Give Daisy an extra treat for us and Thanks again for your education and entertainment.

Great location guys! You've probably researched this already, but you can (as if 11/17) still go from Maine to Mass and not quarantine. However if you go from Mass into Maine, you DO need to quarantine. Have fun and stay safe! Be sure to try the Miss Portland Diner (off Marginal Way/Chestnut St.) and Becky's Diner on the waterfront in South Portland (on Commercial St/High St). Both are OUTSTANDING!

So wild to see you guys explore places I know! I do love the idea of an adult only camp ground...will have to look for those when I travel next year... If you come back, there's good beer and food to be found in Westbrook and Gorham, Maine...right next to Scarborough. You might like The Frog and Turtle...rooftop deck with river views and live music..downtown Westbrook
We are definitely going to have to put Maine on our to-do list. We need to pick our next Travel Nursing destination in the next couple of weeks!

Looked like a fun canoe trip always nice when you can go with the current both ways next time you canoe as you paddle start the stroke with your thumb pointed out to the side then turn it up as you get 2/3s the way back it act like a rudder kipping you going in a straight line and you only need to paddle on one side and not drip water in the canoe by crossing over

Welcome to Dunstan Corner. One of my favorite motorcycle rides is to go around route 77 in Cape Elizabeth to Cottage Road in South Portland, and back to Dunstan via Route 1.
Down to Arundel for lunch at Bentley's Saloon is another great short ride. You had a brief shot of it at 27:48.

How are the mosquitos at the Marsh Front site? Were you able to sit on the Patio during the evening? I have not been to Maine, but boy; you are showing some pretty interesting places to visit.
Not too bad when using our citronella tiki torches... But they can get bad at dusk.
