It's encouraging to hear a professional like you direct seeding a lot of your seeds in the ground. I am a hobby gardener and so many garden youtube videos show people starting their seeds in seed trays. Sometimes, I get overwhelmed by how much work and effort goes into germinating, pricking the seedlings and potting them up into a 72 cell seed tray, then finally transplanting them out into the garden/field. I've been growing veggies mostly, but this year I'm excited to grow more cut flowers. Thank you again for these amazing organized videos!
Happy that you enjoyed the video. I agree seed starting can be overwhelming. Much of our summer flower garden is direct seeded. The things that must be started I tend to purchase pre-starts if possible.

Ok so I ordered Lisianthus, Ageratum, Celosia, gomphrena and ranculus corms...all from several different companies. All said they will come with instructions on when to plant. When do you plant each of these? All in the spring or now?
What zone are you in? Most need to be planted after your last frost. The Lisianthus seeds need to be started as soon as possible. They take a long time to germinate and grow.

Hi can these flowers also grow & florish in the tropics? I'm in Barbados West Indies.
It may be too hot for some of these varieties.
