Did you shave the bump stop mount on the frame? The springs are rubbing that on my kit. I'm using a spring compressor on next install

@@devanwxyz thks for the reply. I just finished wrestling with it, spring compressor did not work. I just jacked up the spindle at different angles until it lined up with the upper arm. The rubber isolator is bulging out the spring bucket but to Hell with it. I had it almost done until the shock bolt stripped out 🥴 starting to lose my sht here lol
@@guitarguy3221 ya been there haha. i made a video on installing it. the best way was jacking up the spindle to the upper arm too. but right now my truck is leaning pretty bad to the left side. about a inch difference is very noticeable lol. might have to do some deavers
@@devanwxyz what did your alignment look like? I bought some dirt king camber plates and cannot find alignment shop that will touch it
@@guitarguy3221 i had dave’s alignment in HB do it. they do all of Camburg’s alignments

im not entirely sure, the straps came with the 6.5 kit

Did you do anything about your windshield washer tank at all.. is it still there, removed, or relocated?
i deleted it. but you can buy a relocation kit, super simple install. i just dont think i need it
did you had to do any cutting down on the front ?
yes i did, just chopped the lower fenders to the corner fire wall, and the bumper
I want to do a btf long travel kit but again would I be racing it no so I’m going to going with the btf mid travel kit
i was looking at that option too. not bad!
@@devanwxyz yea Man the Btf mid travel is probably that best front kit it has lower and upper with 3.5” wider per side and 1” forward this kit achieves 14” wheel travel using coil springs and 2.0x8” shocks so I think that’s what I’m going to do

Is the rear lifted at all? If so, how much?
it is not lifted. it has newer leaf springs. but my brother has the same truck and he has 2 inch block in the rear

How does it run with the 4:56 gears??
Absolutely amazing. There is no hunting for gears. Even going up hills I don’t have problems. I even towed with it a couple times and it’s great. Best investment I made for the truck imo
@@devanwxyz did you loose speed on high way?? I'm running 35s and I'm debating on. Regearing to 4:56 but I don't want to loose speed on hw
