My tip: ONLY get lineups immediately after a retwist or when you are going to a party, a wedding reception, interview, etc anywhere you want to look extra presentable. Don’t get lineups every two weeks like you would without them
@@Fosnetworktv since you just started I recommend only one lineup a month until they loc up. So at this stage you usually retwist every two weeks. So that second retwist of the month that’s when you get your lineup.

Ive been using a mixture of Rosemary oil and tee tree oil for a few months now. Spent less than 10 dollars for both at Walmart. I use a dropper to apply then massage it in every night, sometimes in the morning if I remember. Big improvement in just a few months, highly recommended.

No you should let it grow for a couple of months don’t touch it then once you have all the fresh new growth section off the front taper that you want and the new growth that you want to twist into your lock. Now pay attention ! Do it based on your own head shape and only leave a thin taper or slighter more than that but don’t go crazy because you’ll Notice after that especially if you get line ups often which I don’t recommend that your taper will get larger and larger till your locks start from the middle of your head dang near so be careful it is an extremely clean look but you gotta find the perfect balance that work For you just like anything in life really 🤷🏿♂️ nonetheless good luck I hope I helped👍🏿
So I never got a taper on my line up I feel like combing out my locs and getting that taper then getting instant locs again bc ever time I get a retwist I feel like my hair line is receding
