Those who want some kind of AI assistant don't use it for showcasing a hologram and those that do want a hologram are the minority, plus after few days of usage it will end up as just some decoration for your house. Oh and it's already been done you can google Gatebox but that's pretty expensive and is targeting a completely different market. But other than that what this guy has done is pretty cool

Uh... no. This optical trick has been around for over a century, requires a lot of space for a larger version, and doesn't show up well in bright ambient light. It's perfect for a cool little gadget like this, but it's not going to be replacing anything.
