3:30 Probably one of the things I like about the EMD engine sound...how the pitch of the turbos tends to escalate when it starts coming out of the lowest notches
The Title to this Video was perfect Wish it could have been a least a hour long There's nothing better sounding than a EMD Turbocharger Engine Except a Beautiful Woman in Bed lol Awesome Video as always
Great color and resolution. Excellent videos, as always. Love the sound. What happened to EMD? Look forward to the next video, thank you for posting. Edward
At 6:00...ah yes...empty cars going back to the Steelton Plant to be loaded with more of our rails (Retired from the Rail Finishing Mill after 35.5 years total service)
The whiny whistling of the superchargers gives out an awfully eerie sound. It is almost as whiny as a GE90 Commercial Jet Engine, on a Boeing B-777-300 ER
Low hum - engine and exhaust noise. High pitched whine - turbine, turbocharger - think jet engine, but instead of producing thrust, it's a fan driven by the exhaust, that squeezes more fresh air into the engine on intake. Probably also the generator. Mid frequency buzz when in high notch - cooling fans
Aight AC, I got TONS but last one, I’m at work lol. This whole video is emd carnage, watch the tree flex 💪🏼 from the exhaust crushin ua-cam.com/video/uJcuPLIG1M4/v-deo.html
1:07 love to see old fellows are still working!
Something uplifting about hearing some screaming 645's in notch 8 first thing in the morning.
Yes, indeed.

I love the Susie Q parade. Those old timers are still on the job.
I didn't even need to start watching to give it an instant like. The title alone is enough for that, fantastic work!

Nice shot
Thanks.
I love me some standard cabs
So do I.
At 2:45 what makes that really low rubbling sound? I’ve heard it on a lot of different EMDs and I’ve always wondered what cases it

Especially the SD70M-2. I see them a lot on CN and when they idle, there so loud
that. Noise. Your hearing is pressure. Pop off. On the locos
👍👍
