I still get chills adys to this from the ending of this show when Superman goes against Darkseid " I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die. But you can take it, can't ya, big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose, and show you just how powerful I really am! "
@@YaBoySheeny I know I’m late to the party but I just want to point out that the original commentor here was correct in his assertion. It’s common knowledge that the original founding members of the JLA were Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman.
13:08 That's not completely true, in the comics the rings can run out of power as well and need to be recharged, willpower is what allows the wielder to use the ring's power 15:10 Depends on if you're talking about Kendra or Sheyera 17:46 To be fair Joker was killed not long after he revealed that he knew Batman's secret identity

Technically, Flash can fly, albeit, not always for long periods of time. He can do so by spinning his arms downwards creating wind propultion. I'm pretty sure it's even seen in Justice League Unlimited. And as for Batman, again, technically he can fly but due to only the assistance of a high powered jet pack as seen in The Batman (2004) where he battles against the Firefly
Yasssss 😍😍😍😍 hopefully they include the fanbases search for a studio quality version of Embers Song 'RemEmber but me and a bunch of others couldn't find it because the lady who sung it's name was spelled wrong 😑
There's several items inaccurate here, not the least of which is Wonder Woman being sculpted by Hades. - Wonder Woman was sculpted by Hippolyta and brought to life by Zeus - The Flash was a founding member of the Justice League (their heart, if you will) - Martian Manhunter has a secret identity These characters are iconic and I do wish you had done your homework
Since this leaked into the overarching "Timverse", one of my favorite facts that you missed is that, Phil LaMarr, the voice of the Green Lantern, also voiced Static from Static Shock. In the episode which Green Lantern faces off against Static Shock, LaMarr is more of less talking to himself for the entire episode.
#104- Again, WRONG. In the "new 52" comics, Wonder Woman was depicted as the daughter of ZEUS, not Athena. Her mother was still the queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta.
I think that concept is still retarded. Hey everyone my dad is on of the biggest slut/ass hole in mythology. And now there going for the same thing in the live action version. I only wish that they kept Hades as her father.
I remember the convo with Batman and the MMH. How just using his knowledge and detective skills he figured out he was a martian. I am so in love with that sherlockian intellect.
#108: In the JLU episode "The Great Brain Robbery", The Flash switches bodies with Lex Luthor. This allowed Michael Rosenbaum (who played Lex Luthor on Smallville) to voice Luthor on this show also.
#42 So that time when Lex Luthor takes over The Flashes body then looks underneath The Flashes mask to find out his identity only to be disappointed and say he didn't know him was a reference?
+MUMUMUMUist Yes, the incident probably being referred to happened back in the early 80s , when Barry Allen was the Flash. He was unmasked while unconscious by some member of his Rogues' Gallery (I think it was Heat Wave, but don't hold me to it---it was a LONG time ago). The punchline here was that Barry Allen wasn't a well-known public figure like, say, Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne, so even though the villain knew what the Flash's face looked like, the knowledge did him no good at all.
#5 a bit more directly The Challengers of the Unknown were the proto Fantastic Four team. Both co-created by Jack Kirby originally had four members with many other parallels as well. Marvel needed something quickly and most of the founding Avengers hadn't been created yet.
+TomboTime Stewart was really an interesting character solely in the DCAU. He's written poorly in most comics. While he was my GL growing up, I have a particular fondness for Kyle Rayner.
+Wyatt Vogel Okay, I'll come out and admit I am hugely biased. John Stewart was the first green lantern I ever heard of as a kid, and while I HAVE read a handful of DC comics to be sure I've definitely been more exposed to the DCAU by far. I just like John Stewart in the show because he was for all intents and purposes the leader of the original 7 (even though he wasn't in the forefront). He was a no nonsense, cold and calculated marine who wasn't afraid of calling super beings out for their crap, yet he was more team involved then Batman and thus more of a team based Tactician. Also he was more humorous at times. He made such a great duo with the Flash that way where he was all guts and Wally was all heart. Also that episode where they go back in time in an alternate WW2 where John loses his ring's power and has to survive using his Marine training is so badass. Also the time he fought that one dude during the Thanagar invasion. It's no wonder the ring chose him for his willpower. He doesn't take crap from anyone, he just keeps going no matter what happens. Okay, I'm done nerding out now. But this is a damn good show. JLU is even better (best Bruce Timm series ever IMO).
I think Guy Gardner is the coolest lantern, even though he's not a green lantern anymore. I also like Kyle Rainer though. In general I think the lanterns are the coolest in the DC universe
+Matthew Pearson You know, its one of the things that never made much sense to me. I mean, if he uses it alot, spends 23 hours fighting a villain and wins goes home, recharges it, some other day, he barely used it, but it will still be discharged after 24 hours?
Matthew Pearson The confusion probably came from Kyle Rainer's origins. Since he was given the last ring after ...*someone*... wiped out the Corp, he was the sole person channeling the entire Green portion of the spectrum, which meant he didn't need to recharge and could always handle yellow items.
+Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens: I feel you it's really amazing thoy. I feel like they should get fans to create the movies someday because we pretty much know what we want how we wanna see them
The original JLA also included the Flash. Which means that the only adjustment was replacing Aquaman with Hawkgirl. You can see the Flash at the bottom of the Brave And The Bold issue in which the JLA debuted.
Sorry to disagree with you, but the FIRST animated adaptation of The Justice League was THE JUSTICE LEAGUE! Featuring Aquaman, The Flash, Superman, Hawkman, Green Lantern, and The Atom in 1967. The Series did'nt last long, animated by Filmation, and was on The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. The show ran from 1967-1968. Premiering on September 9, 1967, this 60-minute program included a series of six-minute adventures featuring various DC Comics superheroes.
The FIRST animated incarnation of The Justice League of America was done by Hal Sutherland's Filmation Studios in 1966. With voiceovers from Ted Knight. Please do your research.
Love these videos...if you lot keep with the superhero game, love to see a Young Justice one or a Green Lantern: Animated Series one. Two amazing shows that were both cancelled before their time. Make it so! :D
As much as I enjoyed this, I felt the 'fact's that mentioned shows such as Brave and the bold, Young Justice and the like, should of been more for their own episodes and it mostly just felt like padding
You forgot the mention that the reason Hal Jordan wasn't in the justice league series was because he was doing his own thing fighting the red lanterns and whatnot lightyears away. Green Lantern the Animated Series is the final Bruce Timm series, and it is as good as you expect a green lantern show to be.
While I do like this show, it does become very apparent if you have watched the show or have an in depth knowledge of the source material that they are clearly lightly skimming Wikipedia for at least some of these facts, as opposed to doing in depth research.
Well, the rumor that "For the Man Who Has Everything" is potential the only comic book adaptation that Alan Moore approves of should have been worked in. It's definitely one of the most faithful and full reproductions of his work.

The DC Animated Universe is the GOLD standard for these characters and stories to me. If only those working on the unsuccessful 'DCEU' had taken more notes having access to such great shows...
Another interesting fact, originally the Scarecrow from The New Batman Adventures was intended to be a part of this show's Legion of Doom, but couldn't be used because he was slated to appear in the 2004 series, The Batman, which he unfortunately didn't end up appearing in either.
The funny thing is you could probably make another 107 facts on this and the Unlimited show, cause there's A LOT of things about these shows that's very interesting. I really love DC's animated universe since it was so well designed and organized. No franchise has come close to it in those regards, imo.
The original members of the justice league are green lantern, flash,Aquaman, wonder women, and manhunter batman and superman didn't found the league they had there own comic book at the time they where popular so they added them later in the line up
Justice League unlimited was actually a season and a half, because Bruce was afraid the show was going to get canceled so he made plans for a different show. When DC picked up Justice League Unlimited for a second season, he asked for 13 episodes only. He was granted that.

Literally Superman's best line in all of Superman history.
I thought that was in unlimited
Lex Luther is voiced by the voice actor of Mr Krabs in the original.
Ironically, Lex is voiced by the voice actor of Plankton in the german version
Loooool
This is a dumb question but is it the German voice actor of plankton or Mr. Lawrence himself that plays Lex
He was lex before krabs
The Flash is a founding member of the Justice League. He wasn't added to replace Aquaman, so there was no two-for-one.
Poor guy you commented without making sure you heard correctly. Super friends had aquaman hence the two for one
