This has enough story line to make several movies or several seasons of a Television Show for HBO Max. However, this would be a very expensive series to make, so I doubt that would happen, it would be very CGI heavy.

I love the fact that when talking about the lobotomized villains when looking at Scarface the puppet has the marks and the man doesn't.
Like Supes at least understood that the Puppet was the Outlet so making it look like Scarface was lobotomized definitely affected the psyche
@@arnowisp6244 Clearly, what Lord Superman did to the villains was vastly more sophisticated than actual lobotomy. He wouldn't get results like those from anything so primitive.
I think the forehead scars are just a sort of "official seal" to show that a person has gone through the treatment, which is probably different for each person.
Lord Superman probably gave Wesker some sort of surgery and then put the mark on the dummy because he knew that was what would confirm, in Wesker's mind, that Scarface had been tamed.

The best part about Earth-50 is that although they're tyrants, they're still heroes. They rule the world out of an obsessive need to protect it, not because they're power-hungry, afraid or full of rage. They simply believe they can do more and are left misguided and saddened after a friend's death. They blame themselves over Flash.
Way better than Injustice.

Justice lords, Superman’s injustice team & the crime syndicate are similar yet pretty different at the same time
The Justice Lords is what you get if all of the members of the Justice League joined Superman in the world of Injustice including Batman. The Crime Syndicate’s members were all just evil from the get go.

I much preferred justice lords to the injustice stuff, it's a lot more justifiable as Luthor really brings the world to the edge. I also didn't like that the other heroes didn't suddenly become sadists and cower before a Superman that snapped as of they were side characters in the boys, they were still a team

I agree, the justice lords are a way too heavy solution to an actual problem the league have. If I lived in a world whit as much inpunity as the Justice League, I would also be pissed off.

I love the Justice Lords; they're story and how they act always fascinated me.
The Justice Lords are one of my favorite episodes in the Justice League Animated series
See I never liked them because I hate the “kill one evil psychotic and you’re a dictator” deal. I mean Wonder Woman is an Ancient Grecian warrior so she’s killed thousands and should be able to tell who to/not to kill with mercy. Also can’t she tell the evil from the soldiers with her powers?

Earth 50 was originally the home of the Wildstorm heroes; but after the aftermath of Flashpoint supposedly merged Wild storm into Earth 0, they decided to replace it with the Justice Lords. Apparently, this decision was made because the Justice Lords are conceptually similar to the Authority.

The other heroes were probably split in two groups, those who were with the JL and those against them (which was probably most of them) and you can probably guess what happened to the latter. The guardians probably did have something to say and tried to stop GL but the other lords probably took his side, so the guardians probably not wanting to start a full on conflict with them made a deal that GL can only operate in sol and if he leaves then it's on.

They probably thought that a fight with them would be more trouble then it's worse so they next best thing to do would be to just put a deal of "you stay in your little box where you won't bother us and we won't bother you". Who knows, maybe they did fight and went a similar way as it did in injustice

To this day, I still don't know how John was still a Green Lantern in this universe. The Green Lantern Corps would absolutely, at the very least, take his ring away. Hell, iirc, the ring itself could also just refuse to work for him and leave him whenever it wants.
But why? They weren't villains in the normal sense, just a bit more authoritarian.
Sinestro always tried to get a Green Lantern ring so in the end the ring is still a Tool.

What I never got, was how did John Stewart not lose his ring from the guardians for helping a dictator
He established order, did so risking his life and is, in fact, not in charge.
Also, tbe guardians themselves havea large army enforcing their order. Soo... i guess they do recognize the double standards involved in chiding Jon.
Also, the lords did stabilize earth. Sure, under threat of violence but in essence, thats what we do as well. We threaten violence in the sense of Law and order to keep each other in line so that we can all live our lives.
The funny thing is, the scene with the customer at the restaurant actually was a bad example to convince lord batman.
Sinestro ruled his planet and his Green Lantern ring didn't leave him because of it.
John Stewart never tried ruling through fear. He just sought to bring peace by enforcing his will unto others which while not good doesn't nessecarily disqualify him as a green lantern.

There’s an animated movie called Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
I hope they focus on the economy and state and not just the good guy vs the bad guys.

Altough Lord Superman went too far, sometimes lethal force is the only way.
Like... eventually he will run out of people to kill/be against so, it is really a temporary problem for such a powerful being.

One of the things I didn't like about Justice Lords is how Wonder Woman goes from loving Batman to literally killing him in cold blood, remember this Wonder Woman is the same as the DCAU up to the point where Luthor becomes becomes president, she goes from loving Batman to hating him and blindly following Superman. Seriously why in all universes where Superman is evil the writers also make Wonder Woman evil and turn her into Superman's sidekick.
It makes sense, actually. When do they have their first romantic moment? In "The Brave and the Bold." Luthor gets arrested in "Injustice for All." That's two episodes earlier. We can assume that the fork in the road is right there - Luthor didn't get arrested, and he went into politics

Of course Batman is the only one of the Justice Lords to see the error of his ways. We can't have Batman stay bad for too long, that would hurt brandi...I-I mean it would hurt his character.

Agree with you completely, DC treats Batman like a god and expects everyone else crawl naked over contact poison razor wire to tongue kiss whatever leaks out of his nappy.
And they turn every hero and villain into a brain dead idiot to make him look good. 95% of the people he easily defeats would beat him in less than a second if not for his ultimate superpower of being DC's favorite money maker. And the only reason he's the money maker is they have him winning all the time, AND he's RICH!!!! and somehow gets the babes.
the DCAU always did, probably because it started with Batman. Though technically superman was totally separate at first. The problem is when everyone else does it.
It's probably why kingdom come is one of the best versions of this story. Both characters stay good.

One thing to note - the Batman Beyond 2.0 comic is in the multiverse as Earth 12. The current (2023) Beyond comics are set on Earth 0 (mainstream) and exist in Hypertime as a possible future of Earth 0. It started when the Earth's End story began during New 52 and has continued on to this day.
Ok guys I’ve seen the original justice lords episode from unlimited and justice league but I have a question only my fellow nerds can answer. Why didn’t the guardians get involved when green lantern became a justice lord and took over the planet? In my opinion he would be doing the same as sinestro did on his own right? Why did they never show up to remove the ring or take Superman down the way they did in the injustice universe??
The first part is a good question.
the second one isn't. It's not the injustice universe. And green lanterns don't always get involved in taking down or changing planets' governments. It's upto the GL of that sector. And even then, they might only get involved if it's interplanetary.
@@DSan-kl2yc bro so I understand it’s not the injustice universe I was using that as an example. The reason I use that as an example is because it directly matches what The guardians did with sinestro when he took over his planet by force. Hal Jordan(parallax) uses his ring to create his city that was destroyed and then the guardians jump in and tell him he cannot use his ring for that manner. Those two examples match injustices Guardian stepping in like what they did Hal joined Superman. The injustice universe definitely matches the fact that Superman killed someone and then Green Lantern actively uses his reign to enslave his planet and stop all crime very similar to what’s sinestro did on his planet while joining Lord superman as the Hal did in injustice the reason I brought those up is because they directly match up with reasons the guardians have stepped in before. It’s just strange that it’s never been said why the guardians never stepped in in that sector when GL became a justice lord. Especially given the dynamics of this team it would be very interesting to see them paired up against the guardians when it’s a justice lords.

@@novahughes1834 you misunderstand. What I mean is simply that different universes might have different responses. And green lanterns have left almerac and a host of other planets under authoritarian rule.
GLs job is to stop crime, so that part isn't an issue. Like I said, it's a good question why the guardians don't interfere with GL.
But it's not weird that they don't interfere with earth itself. Each sector is self governing, monitored by the local green lantern to do as they please/see fit.
Though even with sinestro, they had to learn about it first. And while he did take over, he was also in general, a bad ruler.
He might believe you have to take over but he was also very self serving like a king in his rule. And no one did anything till they learned about it.

Earth 50's story is very similar to the unjustice story.
I'm not sure if I like how the comics handled everything. I find the Justice Lords so interesting and would love a proper continuation.
Main thing that bugs me; if Lord Batman was causing unrest and rebelling, wouldn't the Justice Lords imprison or lobotomize him? The writers having him killed seemed to miss the point.
Another thing. Wonder woman and Superman hooking up is strange as well. Loius Lane is still alive in this world in the animated show.

sounds like everything after the original is written really badly. This and Kingdom come basically influenced the whole injustice thing. It sounds like injustice bleed backwards into this in a really bad way.

Injustice after the initial run just went to shit plotwise.
I find that the reintroduction of earth 50 to be problematic and the storyline in general causes me discomfort.
Not only does it imply that in the canon of Earth 12(JLU’s earth), Wonder Woman straight up ditches the league and then nobody gets a happy ending, and she has to platonically marry the person she hates most.
And a further kick in the dick is that when she goes back to Earth-12, Bruce Wayne is old and dishevelled. Admitting that his love for Diana had long since burnt up which destroyed me emotionally.
I always subconsciously hated the batman beyond continuity for this exact reason, the storylines are great, but batman grows old with nothing to show for it, all his original sidekicks grew old and quit, the Catwoman Romance didn’t work out and he has nobody. (The only saving grace being that in this timeline he was smart enough to realise screwing Talia Al-Ghul is a very bad idea).
