As an Asheville local I have great access to Dales Pale ale, in fact I picked up a pint today after watching your review last night, I got a craving for some after watching it. Glad to see you enjoy this wonderful beer! And I am definitely glad to see that you have made it to the area and checked out the beers here. I love the micro-brew culture we have going on and I would love to see you review some of our local beers if you get the chance. Cheers!
Oskar Blues is on my favorite breweries list.. Everything I've had from them is just outstanding! Their Deviant Dales IPA is one of my favorite IPAs and this pale ale is the best I've had so far IMO.. Just a one of a kind brewer.. They rock and the fact that they use cans just make it better! Glad you liked it Greg and I'm sure that Dales Pale Ale must have been awesome on tap!! I'm jealous haha! Cheers!
65 IBUs via Oskars website. Great beer and a regular for my fishing or camping trips. I enjoy the great taste and the fact it comes in a can so I don't have worry about breaking a bottle while enjoying the outdoors.
Surprised myself u hadnt reviewed this one. One of the more available and renowned pale ales and is a lot of my friends go to. Great hearty pale ale! Cheers
Another great review, Greg! This one is my favorite pale ale. I like it better than Sierra Nevada's, which I like quite a bit. I give it a 10 for a pale. It isn't as good as many IPAs but still a 10 for pales. Unfortunately, I have to drive a while to get this one too. Wish the local Safeway carried it. I would really love to hear a review of their Deviant Dale's and Ten Fidy. I have not had either of them and would love to hear what you think. And Ten Fidy around here is over $4.00 for a 12 oz can!
believe it or not my dad is married to dales wife best friends dales wife is named crhristy and my dads wife is named Kristy they had there wedding at one of dales houses and it was awesome asf
This is best Pale I ever had, because it is so hoppy, to me it is almost a IPA, I grew up and wend on S Nevada, but this blows this away, my favorite Pale
Shame on me... I just had a can. Looked after I watched this video!! It was canned on 7/18/13!!!!!! I looked fast I didn't see it was over a year old! I thought it was SUPER mild!! WTF I'm thinking of bringing the can to the store I bought it from.. Fucking people don't rotate there beers!!! I thought it was garbage. I need a fresh one.
I'm drinking 2 of 6 now. Love this shit.
Great review! As a relatively novice beer drinker I really appreciate your insights, as well as your delivery.
I was just checking out bbbarfly and they have some great stuff. I could use that green one that you've got!
This is a great pale ale! I am also a hophead,
Long time no see Greg! This is a beer I've seen online before, but of course, never in Canada. Another beer that makes me very jealous!
World Class pale ale. One of my favorite beers of all time. Love the glass Greg. I need one.
The best pale ale I've had.
Just got my hands on a few of these here in Sweden. Just an excellent beer! Lots of hops and a nice bitter finish for a pale ale. So refreshing.
The Kroger's up in Blacksburg had Dale's Pale Ale when I was there in December as well.

Craft beer keeps getting better, Amen!!! Breweries are doing amazing beers in the last few years
I just bought a 12 pack and didn't see the date till I looked at the can. 4 months old :( love this beer but apparently no one buys 12 packs here

Right on the mark, I am a hop head too, but this is the best pale I ever had, very nice
Another great review Greg! I am curious how you would say this one compares to Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale? Would love to hear back from you
Please review their G'Knight Imperial Red IPA! Fantastic.
Sounds like a good transitional beer. Thanks for the review.
Yes great review, great balance on that beer!
If you had to pick between this a and Serra Nevada, which would you choose?
Not an Pale ale guy, but Oskar's has been one of my favorites for that style. Great Review, survive that Virginia wind haha

That's so funny I just bought this beer yesterday for the first time, so I have some in my fridge today.
Might be my favorite
Great review! Cheers!!!
Drink this out of the can! It tastes like condensed hop nectar if you do.
I agree with you Greg. This is one of those beers where BeerAdvocate gets it wrong. Bros give it an 81.. I don't see how
I've walked passed Dales pale ale every day because I prefer my beer in a bottle and I really like IPA's
Devon Langbein I buy cans way more. As soon as a brewery introduces cans to their line up I smile
Can you mail me a 6 pack.
One of my favorites as I said before, Alpine Brewery blows this away, try to that, their "Hoppy Birthday" Awesome!!! Cheers Brother
