A super classic and a great beer of course. I have said to beer drinking friends of mine on more than one occasion, if i could only drink 2 beers for rest of my life I would choose Wernesgruner and this one.
I'm a home brewer. Ronald is mostly correct. Yeast is not added, it is still in solution from primary fermentation. Priming sugar is added at bottle time and the CO2 produced in the bottle stays in solution.
Sierra Nevada does have this certain kind of pineyness to their pale ale & Torpedo. When I was younger, I liked/didn’t mind that pineyness, but now for whatever reason, I’m not really into that distinct flavor note as much. I did have their Dank Little Thing hazy ipa recently, though, and liked it a lot. Probably ‘cause that signature piney note was absent in it. Think you & David would like that one, too, since it didn’t even taste like a hazy. IF it can be found, that is.
@@ronaldtheriot Yeah, I've come to enjoy the piney taste over the years. Agree with you guys though, I really wouldn't want to drink more than one of these in a day or at least not two in a row.
Great, classic beer, still love it. I treat it like bottled homebrew and try not to pour that yeast into my glass, it alters the flavor and aroma if you get too much yeast.
I am having this on tap! Pretty enjoyable!
I would love to try the draft version!
One of the best!
A classic!

Those would be two good choices, Douglas.

That's all above my head, Bryon. Yes, it just cooled down, again, overnight.
Gonna grab a twelve pack of cans today. Easily in my top five favorite beers!
I love it, Bart!
I definitely prefer this and Dales to any IPA. These are my favorite, no hop head bs, just straight solid flavor.
Right- a straight-forward classic. No foolishness.
Just going from memory, I think you did a mystery taste challenge with SN Pale Ale, it's great beer. Cheers 🍺
I think you're right. Cheers, back to you, Wayne!
I found a bar in San Francisco who had pints on tap for $5, it was a good night to say the least. I must've drank 5 or 6 of them bad boys
Six? Whew!

That piney bitterness is probably an acquired taste, for most people.

Lol, you guys need to start buying more than one bottle!
Yes, I bought a six-pack of it.

Nice video gentleman. I do prefer Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale over this. Yet if it is based on availability I may select the Sierra Nevada. Cheers!
Thanks, and I tried Mirror Pond, once. But, Descutes is no longer sold in Louisiana.
