- The L Word: Generation Q’s stars and producers Leisha Hailey and Kate Moennig join Tracy E. Gilchrist to discuss The L Word, working with Kehlani and Joey Lauren Adams, and how their off-screen friendship fuels Alice and Shane’s on-screen friendship.
Reason why The L Word was popular as it was the dynamcs of the core grorup bleeding into the scenes of the show. The brownie scene is a perfect example. We totally want more OG interactions which was sorely missing from the GENQ show. But many just want the OG's back on their own show where storylines can be explored more fully with more time devoted to each OG character. Leisha and Kate you are loved!

The brownie scene, where they're dancing to Jackson 5 is one of the best scenes ever! It's just pure happiness and friendship
Those two do make the scenes that they're in together colorful and alive.
Soooo, a guest star had better ideas as a Director than the show's actual Director. That tells me everything I need to know about the folks in charge of this reboot.

This is actually hilarious bc u can tell the interviewer has no idea what she is talking about, has done no research and is some paid talking head. ONE glance at the reviews/ social media would inform her that the overwhelming majority of fans are pissed about the horror that is season 3. Kate and Leisha are definitely aware lol. The looks on their faces when she says this is ‘what the fans want to see’ says it all 🤣. These interviewers are clearly paid by/ figuratively in bed w someone involved and/or not actually paying attention but just doing the interview for a check🙄

Gutting to see this Showrunner, Marja Lewis Ryan, ruin this iconic franchise that is beloved by millions worldwide. What a wasted opportunity. If Showtime/Paramount grants a 4th season, PLEASE hire a new Showrunner!!

This is hilarious: 3 key actresses are leaving GenQ and this is what the fans wanted??? Nope. Interesting that the cast mingled so much, when JB, LH and SM are absent for most of the episodes and Sepi didn‘t have any interaction, except with Dani and Nat. Looks like a paid Interview and a Reality Check is in Order 😳. Jesus
