Yeah I think with all the rain and humid temps here in WI and throughout the midwest a second fungicide app might be needed. Thanks for the reminder.
Yeah it’s been a weird season so far. We just got a huge rain yesterday. I never complain when we get a nice storm the lawn certainly loves it! Makes it challenging though that’s for sure.

Yeah it’s been a lot worse this year, usually I’m not hit too bad by fungus but it started out really hot and dry which lead to me watering a lot more. Then temps dropped and we got a bunch of rain and then the humidity came and that’s when the fungus really took off. Crazy. I’m ok with the water but man it’s looking a bit sad right now. Every action has a reaction.
Would you suggest watering it daily for 20 minutes or how is the aftercare?
Once applied and once the first water is done, does one water it regularly once every few days, etc.
You really only "need" to water it after application but it really depends on weather and temperature and if your lawn really needs the water or not. Excessive water can lead to additional fungus issues. I'd recommend watering every other day or maybe even only 2-3 times a week but water deep and infrequently, so you want to try and get like a half inch of water down but don't water again for a couple days so you give enough time for the grass to dry out a little bit between watering. Keeping it moist all the time is what can lead to fungus issues with overly frequent watering. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Will I need to apply fungicide only twice during the summer? I put down in June and July. Wondering if I'll need another application
@@netm203 depends on your region and the weather, how much rain you get, temperatures, etc. if the fungus pressure is still there or not. I will be applying a third application here in the next week or two and that should get me through to august. If you start seeing fungus issues reappear then do another application. Just make sure you continue to rotate active ingredients every few months so it doesn’t build up a resistance. As a general rule of thumb for northern grasses here in Wisconsin you can apply fungicide from about June through august. Maybe May through august further south. Hope that helps!
