As we made our way around the world we encountered love, hate, rich and poor, black and white, and many different religious groups and ideologies. It became very clear that as a human race we need to transcend from the darkness to the light and music is our weapon of the future. This Song Around The World features Bono, Rocky Dawuni, Mermans Mosengo and musicians who have seen and overcome conflict and hatred with love and perseverance. We don't need more trouble, what we need is love. The spirit of Bob Marley always lives on.

Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Yup, Yusuf aka Cat Stevens led me to the these awesome world concerts. Now an Elder, Im so glad to have the opportunity to hop back on the what I call The Peace Train. Did my Dance with Anger for several years then contemplated my age, wisdom, and extensive plant knowledge so I got back on 3 years ago. So glad to hear the peoples of our universe vibrate as one. So joyful was I in finding these videos that after listening, I burst into song. My 1st choice, Three Dog Nights old classic, "Joy to the World, then proceeded to give my neighbor's a full on 1960's Folk music concert. No drugs, no alcohol, just pure heart as gas. Note: Though surprised, neighbor's didn't mind. I can still sing well, clear & strong. Thank you so much. Love & Light to You and Yours.

We can tell each musician here mean it, they all know war directly and they are really putting their hearts in the music, and that’s why this statement is so honest and powerful. The way Bono bridges between War to No More Trouble is quite something though and it really gives full force to the voices of those who sing the next lines after him.
